Do we need a new Wolf3D wiki?

Old one doesn't seem to work or get updates....
Even Keen community has a wiki....

We should. I'll gladly add entries, simple stuff such as mods (how many levels they have, author and how old they are) and let all opinions be.

That's not a Wolf3D wiki, that's just WOLFENSTEIN as the brand, including stuff from RTCW etc.

No, we don't have control - you can't post new mods or articles.
Can you make a post about "SplitWolf"? Try.

This wiki is basically dead.

Yes, why not...but let's be more active there....unupdated wiki is like no wiki at all...

Just remember it's a wiki, so internal terms should be links. ([[term]] or [[user:username|username]])

I have issues logging in. After registering, I get no email (yes, I checked my spam folder). I tried two emails to no avail.

Weird....an I the only one who can log in there?

Wiki is interlinked type of media.
To create new page you need to insert it as a "stub" (empty term) in some existing page, thus linking new info to the wiki.
In your case - you can link it (edit) to profile of a wolfer who made the mod - in his list of mods made. Or you can put yourself as credit in one of existing mods - to create your profile.
Stub is written like this: [[new stub name]] for general term, and [[User:UserName|UserName]] for a person.

After "stub" is created - you can freely edit it.

Dean, myself, Thomas - could edit it. So this might be a problem with new registrations or problem with some browsers...are you sure you need a registration email? Try to log in.

I use Internet Explorer, so I don't think it's a browser problem. Tried logging in without email confirmation several times, but didn't work either. Oh well.

Deathshead (or one of his subsequent aliases) is usually on a posting rampage about two weeks of each year.
