    hey guys.
    Brian, could you put all of the wolf3d into 1 giant rar file, please? I'm trying to do something here. It involves all of the wolf3d mods in Wolf3d Dome mixed into 1 giant file.
    I hope my experiment works. pale

    There's far too many mods to put into one rar file. There are around 1000 mods out there and most are more than 1Mb in size. My server doesn't have the bandwidth to host such a large file.

    Maybe the best way is to put them all together on to a compact disk.

    They still don't all fit! I've got over 700 mods in my collection and it takes me 2 discs to get them all on, I've tried zipping and transferring to .rar format and the file is still to big to get onto 1 disc.

    What do you mean with "A nice rar-file"? The game is already in one folder, is it because you can't use WinZip?

    Well, Winrar compresses things more than Winzip, so I can put more mods in a place. Well, maybe, lets say, 200-500mb size? Like, skipping some add-ons?

    Some "mods" are just crappy ol' mapsets, some released more than once. Some mods are worth skipping, such as "Raw Meat" and that "Enigma"-thing.

    I think that you can burn 4.34 to 4.7 gigabytes onto a DVD-R. Try that. Thumb drives (or Flash drives or whatever they are called when made by different companies) can store 4 gigabytes or maybe more. At Best Buy, they sell 300 to 320 gigabyte external hard drives. I live in Indiana and there's an Indiana computer store that sells 750 gigabyte or 1 Terabyte external hard drives. The price is going down for external storage.

    Exactly what experiment are you doing where you need over 1,000 mods?
