    RetroBlazer - SP Alpha Demo
A new othogonal-style indie FPS running on Darkplaces Quake

RetroBlazer Alpha v0.2 Single Player Demo

RetroBlazer - SP Alpha Demo RBq1_preview1

The game features the classic wolf3d style sprite based orthogonal gameplay but with a fast paced stylistic twist. The alpha includes 7 levels, 3 unique enemies, 3 different weapons, replaced GFX sounds and original music. One of the levels is a homage to our well known FPS, only available in this version! (Wolf e1m1)

Multiplayer, as well as many other things are not yet implemented, but will be soon, when more weapons and items are developed.

Game is made for Darkplaces Quake

Thanks. Welcome to the forums. Check your email for my message.

Retro Blazer looks a lot like a Mega Man style game. As soon as I remember the names of the guys that made the Mega Man Wolf3D clone, then I'll link them to this page.

What minimum system requirements for "RetroBlazer"? Unfortunately I have a weak netbook - Samsung NC10. The game starts but shows only the user menu (configuration files *.cfg I have not used).
In any case, I liked your game. I looked all video recording and it's just great. Time will pass and I'll play. By the way how many levels you plan to do?

It didn't work right on my 2011 "Acer Aspire One Atom N570" netbook out of the box either (1GB RAM, GMA 3150 graphics). The textures just showed up as bright white (not loaded into memory) so it was pretty much unplayable there.

I tried it on a 2012 "Acer Aspire One Atom N2600" netbook out of the box though (1GB RAM, Power VR SGX545 graphics) and it works!!! Smile
OK. Thanks, Chokster37. Then if your computer is newer and faster than mine, then please watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Shx4WPnIVvg&context=C446391bADvjVQa1PpcFOifG4qQup5T_c1AucVKa5O8s-3zhWwHVw= at about 14:10 for The Wolfenstein 3D tribute level and then play it. However, please tell me what happens when you go in to the secret exit of the Wolfenstein 3D tribute level. Amil from RetroBlazer hasn’t responded to my email.

      CPU: Intel i5 2410m (2.30GHz)
      GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6370M (1Gb DDR3)
      RAM: 4Gb DDR

RetroBlazer - all runs.. all flies.. nothing slows.
In general, the game caused the most positive experiences.
    While passed two levels..
