Name-A-Group-After-You - 1250 credits
Name-A-Group-After-You and change your username color - 1500 credits
Name-A-Group-After-You, changes color of of anyone that joins your group, and change your group description, and be a moderator of your own group - 2000 credits
Same as above, but your group persists even after you go missing from the forum - 2500 credits
Decrease Warning Level: 100 credits per point
Admin Status: Over 9000 credits! (Just kidding, not for sale.)

For name changes, you cannot pick colors the same as or close to colors already used as groups. For name-a-group, you cannot name a group after an existing group, or have a name like "Forum Admin".
For being a moderator of your own group, you can only moderate your group. As a moderator of your own group, you can control if other members can join your group.
Even if you make a group, it will vanish if you stay away from the forum for too long. By that, I mean, you go missing for weeks on end. Unless, you spend 2500 credits...

The "Change forum index" or "Change forum welcome message" may be used for and appropriate message. Advertising is ALLOWED, this means you can advertise your next mod or website, etc. The forum welcome message is the popup that nags you to log in when not logged into the forums.

I looked into it for 25 minutes.  To make hot pink in Photoshop-like programs, I believe that it’s 255/255 red, 127/255 green, and 127/255 blue.  I’ll have to convert it to hexadecimal for your entry for the CSS file.  I don’t know how to do that yet.  Or you could create a group within https://wolf3d.darkbb.com/ possibly with a name like Mario’s friends or Princess Peach’s friends and make the color hot pink.  I’m contacting Erica and waiting for a response.

EDIT: I created the open group of Princess Peach's friends, made it pink, and made you a member.  I can make neon pink effects for your name, but I have to leave in 20 minutes, and I'll do that tonight or tomorrow.

As you've discovered, the way to do this is to make a custom group with the desired color, and add him? her? into it. Generally it's best to set the group to hidden, so it doesn't show up in the bottom of the main page (as the function was intended to be color change, not custom group, the group is just a means to achieve the color change).

Princess Peach, I can't code how to add the neon glow to your username.  So, I'm just going to have to forget about it.

For everybody else, don't take yourself too seriously that I can't yet subtract 500 credits from Princess Peach's total for changing the username color.  If you want your username changed to green, then contact me, and I'll add you to the Matt's Mutants group that I think I'll start.  EDIT:  The Matt's Mutants group now exists, even though my username is blue, because I'm blue in the administrators group.

I don't think neon glow is possible for usernames.
