    I was wondering if there was enough intrest to make a Final Fight 2. seems from the comments on the videos that people really like Final Fight. who would like to help me make Final Fight 2 if it were to be made. I thought it would be really cool to make a final fight 2. so what do you guys think?

It was just that FF2 needed much more coding, like floor/ceiling textures etc. And since I was a bit busy with school, I decided to quit with coding for this one, and focus on my other projects, most notably Sonder. Smile

    But I like the idea of us two mapping with an other coder. We could use wolf4SDL, so we can have endless possibilities with mapping. Very Happy

    Lol. I think Nvidia graphics cards have "Digital VIbrance" settings. The type of green comes form high levels of it. Maybe check to see if you have the digital vibrance setting on for video games or dos? I dunno, I just wanna tell you about Digital Vibrance Smile (BTW don't set Digital Vibrance to full unless you want a headache for a month)James, maybe a poll on whether or not to keep the wall texture? That might work out great.

    Hey EveryonE!

    Im Apprently back, I have been mapping 5 maps for FF2 (if there is room?) So far there coming out great, not sure when Ill finish one but there turning out great. Onces I get the graphics for FF2 I should finished the completely.

    I said I was going to make one, and I am, I have been slow since I last said AND I have rarely been on. Just been to busy, I got a Job interview soon and such. If you guys want to talk just add me on a IM system or look for me on Skype (quakeman224) Ill see you guys some times. Time is working on. ALSO possible when I finish these if you like some levels I will choose the music for that level.

    Ill see you guys around, Sorry for no updates on my maps for FF2.

    ALSO! The funniest thing. Today is July 2nd, I joined last year on July 2nd Very Happy So its kinda funny to be back up.

    Looks good, although somehow they dont seem to be looking good to my eyes ( maybe the colors etc )

    the lower weapon lock code(you get say the chaingun but none of the lower weapons unless you have them) and stretching the status bar so that it covers the whole lower portion of the screen rather than having it be just in the middle with green edges on each side.

    I've decided that this mod will be on hold after the coding for it is finished. I want to finish the mutant uprising first as that is more important than this sequel.

    It is not cancelled, but most of the stuff I had for it got lost in a hard drive crash. though I need to download the coding stuffs again and start back up on it. if anyone wants to help make stuff for it, I'd be more than glad. for a little while I was focusing on music trying not to think of what's been lost, but now I'm really ready to get back to work on FF2 Smile

    How far is it from finish?

    ...interesting idea with the helmet. Though it's placing is unlogical for the body, as it should have fallen backwards. As helmets are usually tied below the chin - for helmet to fall is uncommon. I'd use it for rocket gibs death frames....but not for normal ones.

    I'd also not overuse this as bodies look like somebody arranged them (+ helmets) specifically for your visit. Special SS "Feng Shui" unit Smile They just wanted to look pretty for you, not like a mess Smile
    So this can fit an uncommon guard or might be randomized for the helmet to fall only 30% of the time.

    the level isn't all that much along yet, but I'm liking how it is going so far. at the moment this will be my second level for the mod. as for the death frames for the pistol guard, you'll have to talk to Megabyte about that. he's the one who made that guard. though what we really need for the mod to move along at a quicker pace is somebody to help out with graphics. I may not be the best at making levels, but I think I've got a good handle on it. also, if anyone wants to test the mod, just send me a PM and I'll be sure to get you the latest version.

    did you ever find out what was causing the readthis! bug? that's really the only thing I can think of. though before the mod is finished, we'll have to decide what levels will have secret elevators and stuffs.

    I had to change one line in version.h to enable readme. But the readme file itself also caused the game to assert out (probably due to image order misalignment caused by altered vgagraph or something) but it's been a while so I gotta check it out. The secret levels are no biggie though when they've been decided.

    sounds good man. there's what 34 levels in total if I remember correctly, right? that total should include the secret levels.

    Yes, confirmed it, the helpart file is at fault there, but looks like the helpart file that I got here is from the original Wolfenstein-3D so it probably isn't the right one in any case. I could send the updated exe so you can work on the helpart file.

    There's also another problem with the VGA files, you've probably used FloEdit right, because the TILE8's are garbled, it is known to cause a crash on Windows XP in some conditions. You should probably repair them somehow. But they aren't really used in anywhere except the warp dialog, so I can just take them out in the code too if you like.

    A fix in code could result the cheatwindow to look like this for example:

    Sorry for not updating the thread with info in a while but not much has been happening. Current status is that we are waiting for an exe that has seamless levels and have received today another map from Megabyte. So even though it is slow going, this mod is still in the works! I must get my second level done.

    So not much of an update here, but the project isn't dead. In fact WLHack is making some wall textures for us, and I've started on another level. These textures look quite nice. Once an updated vswap is sent, I'll be sure to take pics of the level I'm working on.

    Love the red guards - color-wise they blend it perfectly in different ways with both blue and brown nuances.

    I never noticed that myself, but yea they do blend very well with the other stuff. I need to get off my lazy butt and get back to work on levels. I'm slow going with level making though as I'm not the greatest.
