A friendly Wolfenstein 3D community, about Wolfenstein 3D, the game that gave birth to first person shooters...
Not really, I guess it's what you're used to, I'd have trouble imagaining it any other way. We have our main school holiday period over Xmas and New Years so everyone has time off together, It's quite festive still, just no snow! lolThomas wrote:Above the Arctic circle, most likely... One thing about Australia. Do you ever feel a bit funny celebrating Christmas in high temperatures, on the beach and all that when the popular image of Christmas is filled with snow, ice-skating and woolly clothing?! I just cannot grasp it. Could be fun to try some time though.
I don't have The Elder Scrolls, but I've heard of the nudism patches for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I can't remember if it's World of Warcraft or The Elder Scrolls that bans these nudism patches. I never imagined a Polar Bear Club in these games. Nobody wants to see a naked man.Dark_wizzie wrote:
Do any of you guys know how long a guy can survive naked without being incapacitated by hypoerthermia in sub freezing weather that is windy? And with a nice warm outfit on. It's to look at hypothermia exposure increase rates for a mod on Skyrim. Serious question, btw. I have no idea where to ask such a question on the internet.

My response: Well, if they are running around with naked wazoos, then try Wazoo Answers instead of Yahoo Answers!
-76 degrees F weather? I didn't know that Ellen's age is -75 years old. I'll leave a note for my grandkids that Ellen will be born in 2089 according to the prophecies of The Flying Spaghetti Monster, The Invisible Pink Unicorn, and Cthuluthu. I'm kidding.
I woke up at 3:30 am this morning to watch a little bit of TV and get a snack. The news at that time said that it's -76 degrees F in America or Canada and colder than most of Antarctica. But I realized that there's good news to this: Conception time! Northern hemisphere couples conceive the most babies in December or January. If everybody must be at home, then there must be a baby boom 9 months from now because everybody is stuck at home without distractions! That's unless you prefer cloning to the old fashioned way.

Fun fact:
The Radeon 270x changes its speed based upon the temperature. It is designed to operate at 93C and no higher, no lower under load. So the colder it gets outside, the faster the GPU is. One guy suggested testing the GPU on a mountain.
Nothing like gaming on the mountain. Ahh, fresh air.
After like -200C, those things glitch out.JDMGD0 wrote:Fun fact:

Hmm... so what would be the potential of that card at 0K, provided that it doesn't disappear nor shrink?
