I personally think 60 levels of pure goodness is much enough, so i choose elite.

I voted elite too. I like all episodes but overall, I like episode 3 the best for level design though many of the levels on it are on the small side.

espode 2, level7 or 6 (forgot) is the wierdest level... you can finish it within 1 minute!!!
level 7 of espode 1 is good. i liked it. i don't know why.

Wolf 3D is one of the best games i ever played.I finished it lots of times and i can't get enough of it.60 levels of great action.Episode 3 is easier then I thought knowing that is Hitler's bunker.And the secret level is very nasty but fun.Those Pac Man ghosts are funny but deadly.I finished this episode in 30 or 35 minutes,no more.Episode 4 is my favorite.But the secret level is damned.I think ID was drunk when they made it.I numbered the Officers in the map and they were about 70.But i finished it even with killing them all but I died 4 or 5 times.

It's possible to finish the episode 4 secret level without disturbing any of the officers.

I know that the exit is close to the starting point.But Everitime I see those officers fall one by one and the Chain Gun's blazing in the speakers I just can stop and got to continue.

I loved the original Wolf3d 60 levels. It was definitely an early influence of my gaming life. Still play it to this day. I remember playing the shareware version of Ep 1 over and over and over again. Then, I ordered the other Eps and the rest is history. I still really like Ep 2 (those great mutants) and Ep 3. The Death Cam Hitler still never gets old...
