Do you guys generally tip people in restaurants? I got to Dennys and I generally only pay them by rounding up to the nearest dollar because I'm cheap.

It's not customary to tip in Australia as wages are a lot higher and aren't expecting tips to subsardise enough payment for services. I do tip here for really great service but only in a nicer restaurant, not in a chain or anything like that. I was in America in march and tipped most places around 10%-15% except for one place where the food was super cheap and the waitress was amazing, think I tipped her like 50% (was still only $10 or something).

Ahh, I see. I heard they pay waiters below minimum wage in America and they make some of the income back via tips? o_o Unconfirmed rumor though. I don't go to fine restaurants... chain restaurant here called Dennys. I like it here. $10 for the meal, $3-4 for shake. Hmmm.
