At the moment, it's daytime TV here. Lots of soap repeats, talk shows etc. I'm watching Emmerdale, a soap and also a repeat showing.

My day started with Fringe Season 1 Episode 2 (Very good show btw)

and now it's

University of Michigan vs. University of Illinois college football streamed through xbox!

Unforgiven. Clint Eastwood western movie.

-The Walking Dead Episode 1 (again!)
-Fringe Season 2 Episodes 3 & 4 (absolutely amazing!)
-Sherlock Season 1 (very good!)

The IT Crowd - Season 2. Looking for season 3 and 4 on DVD too.

Ron - There's a boxset that's out in Australia with all episodes together in the one boxset, not sure if it's available where you are.

It seems it isn't unfortunately. But it seems that season 4 is now available over here.

The Walking Dead - Episode 2 - Totally HATED it!!

After one of the best first episodes of a TV show ever they follow it up with one the worst 2nd episodes I've ever seen. I'll keep watching though in hope that it gets back the excellent level it set in the first episode.

Wow Dean. While I thought it was nowhere close to being as good as Episode 1, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. "Guts". hehe.

Episode 2 had more of the typical "B movie" feel to it, which works for zombie flicks. Plus, they gave a slight nod to Shaun of the Dead by what they did. I still think this series is finding their own nitch.

Whatever the case, it's very refreshing to see a zombie tv show on!

Second episodes are never as good as the pilot or opening episode. It's scientific fact! I enjoyed in the same way jayngo did (as a b movie thing) but you're right Dean, it was nowhere near the first. Still, the programme's based on a comic so it was always going to have the cheesy guts factor at some point but I do have faith that it's not going to become another high budget, slickly shot bore fest (I'm looking at you Lost, Heroes and Smallville!). I look forward to episode three shambling along some time soon.

Just watched the second episode of The Walking Dead. I still enjoyed it, although I agree with you all that it didn't came near the first episode. I really missed the tension of the first one, although this one also had some great scenes, for instance the escape from the tank, the 'Shaun of the Dead scene' and the ending. But I hated the character played by Michael Rooker. He was just too cliché. On the other hand, I thought Glenn was a pretty cool character. But all in all it missed the impact of the first episode.

I watched it last night as well, it was quite good and definitely much better than episode 2. There are some nice story developments going on in it.

There's not really a lot of Zombies in it. I'm hoping for some flash backs or stories to help us find out what caused the break out of the apocalypse and if it can be reversed or stopped.

It's got the guy from Star Trek in it. Kinda a brutal/cheesy apocalyptic movie type zombie/virus outbreak thing. I liked it.

"Being There"-Starring Peter Sellers. A surprisingly serious role for Peter Sellers. Although there is some crude humor and just plain weird stuff thrown into this movie. Especially the ending...

A long drawn-out contest with Mark Williams ahead for most of the match but with John Higgins winning the last 5 frames to win the final.

Dexter Season 5 - I usually wait until the shows finished for the season and them watch them all over a week, it's just too painful watching it over 12 weeks!

Watching the Snooker UK Championship final again. Amazing stuff.

Yes. John Higgins actually needed a snooker at one point to stay in the final. One of the commentators, John Parrott, was on his way downstairs to interview the 'winner' but had a long wait.

I've ordered Get Him to the Greek and I'm about to pick it up, so I'll probably watch that in a bit.

I've been watching Season 1 of show called Pawn Stars. (Clever play on words but NOT what you are thinking!)

It's an American History Channel show about a Pawn shop in Las Vegas and all the weird stuff they get brought in.

The Masters Snooker 2011 - 1st Round Match

Neil Robertson 6 vs Stephen Hendry 3

Neil took a few frames to settle in but then he played very well. He potted a lot of difficult long pots towards the end. Stephen didn't play too badly overall but made a few errors that he wouldn't have made a few years ago.

England v Australia T20 Cricket game.

A good game where England won on the last ball of the match. The next one is on Friday night from Melbourne where hopefully the Aussie's can get some revenge!

Just saw the highlights of the second one. It was another close match, but this time Australia won it by 4 runs.

I watched the movies Somewhere and Black Swan yesterday. Somewhere is a movie directed by Sophia Coppola starring Stephen Dorff and it is pretty minimalistic, but I liked it. Black Swan was a bit trippy, but what a great movie! I can definitely see why it's an Oscar-contender.

David Nalbandian vs. Lleyton Hewitt

This was only a first round match but it seemed more like a later round at times. It was played at a high standard throughout and just when you thought one player started to dominate then the other one came back. A very long and close match which could have gone either way, but in the end it was David Nalbandian who just edged it.

3-6 6-4 3-6 7-6(7-1) 9-7

I watched that too Brian, I thought Hewitt had it for sure in the 4th set when he was up a break. he sure wasn't too happy afterward!

Watched Tron: Legacy yesterday. Amazing visuals, bad script.

Novak Djokovic vs. Roger Federer

This was the first of the men's semi-finals. Although it was won in 3 straight sets by Djokovic, they were all hard fought and very close.

I watched 'The Expendables and just absolutely hated it, one of the worst movies I've seen for years.

Very dissapointed by that one too. By no means was it the macho bullshit action movie I expected it to be. It wasn't well shot, the action wasn't that great, no good quotes and way too serious. Schwarzenegger was only in the movie to remind you how good mindless action could be.

When I bought the dvd for it I got Rambo 4 for free with it, and that was much better. But best mindless over-the-top action movie of last year is still Machete followed closely by the A-Team, which I enjoyed much much more than I had anticipated.

Good call Ron, at least you knew that Machete was never trying to be more than a B movie, but it sure made the most of it!

The A-Team was really good as well. I loved the TV show when I was a kid and this was a fantastic update.
