What TV programme are you watching?

At the moment, it's daytime TV here. Lots of soap repeats, talk shows etc. I'm watching Emmerdale, a soap and also a repeat showing.

Currently watching Bones Season 4 - this is some good TV!

I just finished watching an interesting English series called 'The greatest cities in the World' hosted by Griff Rhys Jones. There's only 6 installments (New York, London, Paris, Rome, Sydney & Hong Kong) but they were a nice, more realistic look at the cities rather then just the typical tourist look at the place. There was a much more of an immersion into the city and it's people by the host than I've seen on these types of shows before. What was also interesting was that he presented it as though it was over the course of 1 day, so you got to see different elements of the city at different times of the day.

AZ - Göteborg, qualification match for the UEFA Cup.

Lethal Weapon 3, starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. Sort of a cop action/comedy movie set in LA.

Sudden Impact. Starring Clint Eastwood.

The Matrix.

Red Heat.

I'm watching Season 1 of 'Eastbound and Down' again before Season 2 starts in a month or so.

Very funny stuff, I can highly recommend it.

The Wolfman. Good movie, Anthony Hopkins is great actor.

I just watched the latest season the other day, very funny stuff.

It's probably my favourite program at the moment. Can't wait for the fifth season!

I couldn't agree with you both more! It was fantastic and clearly better than most zombie movies that have come out over the last few years (Except for Zombieland, of course)

Per-Scan, I have not seen it. I got rid of cable tv a few months ago. All I rely on now is Netflix, my movie collection, my xbox 360, and wolf3d...

Still, cool to see there is a new series out!

Is it any good? And I mean is it any good in the B-film, trashy, low budget, lot's of blood and guts kinda way???

Nah, it's really good in a AAA, well structured and directed kind of way. It actually moved me a couple of times. IT does have a little schlock in it but if that's what you're into then this isn't going to satisfy you. It has the production values of Heroes or Lost but actually has real content and people you give a toss about. It really is worth watching if you fancy some truly high quality telly.

PS: I love the schlocky stuff too (I just finished watching Zombies at War!) so I don't mean to come across all snobbish. Just trying to give a decent description! BRRRRAAIIINNNZZ!!!

I am watching it now for free online. Pretty good so far....he just woke up in the hospital...

The Undead Are Back!

I was very impressed.

It's pretty good, eh? I like the way that it's obviously inspired by other films in the genre (the beginning is pretty much 28 Days Later) but really does pay homage rather than just cynically ripping them off. The best programme on telly next to Doctor Who!

I can see what you were saying about 28 days later Per-scan, it definitely does have some type of feel like that. It reminded me a fair bit of 'The Road' as well, for anyone thats seen or read that.

Yeah, I see what you mean about The Road. The Walking Dead certainly wears it's influences on it's sleeve!
