I just beat it. There is a red key in an alcove. Can't remember exactly where it was though. This then opens a locked door situated at one end of the map. Inside is a lot of barrels and fences. The gold key is behind a pushwall at a corner in the area and will open some treasure behind a locked door in the middle of the map. I think you only need the red key to get to the elevator though.

I tried looking for the red key in Mapedit again today. You know my email. Could you please email me a saved game in the next couple of days where you're right in front of the exit of this level in the easiest difficulty setting?

Does it have a Santa Claus boss? I think that I was once playing Scarystein and some of the frames of Gretel Grosse were changed into Santa Claus with guns. I also played something like Christmasstein and there was a different Santa Claus boss.

By the ways, I'm looking forward to the Wolf3D Haven Mapset.

I emailed you a saved game in easy mode from the first level. You have the red key and stand in front of the locked door. The exit is through the locked door and a couple rooms away. No other keys are needed to exit. End Of Destiny 2009 Christmas Levels Icon_smile
I haven't played the other levels yet.

End Of Destiny 2009 Christmas Levels Empty Thanks.

Post by stathmk Mon Jan 04, 2010 1:42 pm

    Thanks.

Now I've beaten all the levels. The rest of the levels were more fun. For level 2, you need to imagine yourself on a map of where you're going to make it less confusing. Level 3 has a boss that doesn't look familiar.

I couldn't find the gold key for level 4, but I didn't need it to beat the level. You will find one room with 3 columns blocking you, but there will be text on the walls, 4 skull jar things, and a teleporter in the room. Knock down the column on the left. Go exploring in the hallway that branches off of the room and you will hear soldiers dying because they teleported into the room and touched the skulls. Eventually, 1 of the 4 skulls blocking the teleporter will wear out because of this and you can use the teleporter. You will see robots in a different part of the level. Ignore them, go exploring for a switch in a different part of the level, wait for the sounds of the robots dying as they step on those skulls in jars things, and then go to where the robots where.

I was kind-of confused as to why you attached a picture of a Santa Claus boss in the first post. I didn't see one in the game.

Have fun. I had forgotten to mention that level 4 has rocket launchers and some kind of superclones.

It wasn't a boss. Just a pic to show the mod had a Christmas feel to it.
