    Tristania3D Released

    More Screenshots

Reactor has released 'Tristania3D'. It's a tribute to the gothic metal band Tristania. There are 26 normal levels, plus 12 secret levels including super secret and challenge levels. The levels are large and well detailed. The opening 2 levels are mainly outdoors. Virtually all the graphics, sounds and music has been changed and the resulting gothic feel is quite effective. Code changes include textured floors and ceilings, directional sprites, in-game messages and helpart. A well detailed manual is included. Available here.

    Interesting piece of dinner

Today in cooking with bits 'n bytes:

How to add all EoD stuff to EoD without having the source code and making it taste medieval?

    -Take the End of Destiny
-Take out all features in your imagination
-Add them again in your imagination
-Add a 5th weapon while they are only 4 after
-The case of the lost switches reveals that a flux capacitor is required
-Put some ghost goth fog over it
-Drag it out of the blurry soup
-Put a pinch spicy modding words on it
-Blend it, melt it, flash it with a ne... (click below to see secret ingredient) (Health Warning: Don't look into the light)

I guess I won't see what MCS is cooking whenever he reads the manual.

Anyone died, was reborn and died again while reading all the story and manual? There is not enough time left in the anti-time. Hmm maybe i should read the the bible as introduction before i play Noah's Ark 3D.

I am somewhere but i have no real idea where I am although I am supposed to be right anywhere. Maybe I am somewhere on the other side of nowhere. Wherever I am, I am sure I am not in a not maze.
Either I played the wrong game or my orientation became the one of a stone-age lemming.

Beautiful mod.. BUT .. There is no music .. No individual sounds, such as the selection of ammo .. This will change? Or is it the final version of the game?

Akuul, are you running the game on Windows XP straight from the exe?

If so, you won't get any music and only some of the sounds.

You could try VDM Sound from http://sourceforge.net/projects/vdmsound/ .

Install it, and then when you run the game you should get the music.

To run the game, right click on the game exe and select 'Run with VDMS'.

Hehe well baked reply. This opened my eyes for a vision! Lucky the sponsoring came in the right moment.

    EatYourFood3D
You play as hungry bacteria and have to make your way through a pizza full of dangerous sticky cheese traps.
(2nd episode could be inside of the person who ate the eating bacteria while it's going for a ride upwards in the body.)
Everyone loves pizza and everyone got bacteria. This will be a happy meal for everyone.

Ah you were enjoying 3.6kg popups and a (cold) hot dog (last time i saw someone with such hot dog was doing something else with it thanks to dynamic ear hand grips.) with some decent warm snow to your Tristania meal. Maybe it's virtually as well as non-virtually an underage ice-age dancing a hot tango with the old global warming.

That brings up the idea that there could be global warming feature in some mods. If you take too long on the first 2 snow levels and arrive then in next level everything is flooded with water. The evolution feature will affect your character and the graphics will slowly bear resemblance to Kevin Costner.

I thought I could print the manual including page 3478 though i noticed I have only pink color left to print. Think positive, make it pink.

Was unable to check the Britney 3D thing but I'm afraid it will be raining men after so much snow. Ego contendo, egro sum.

I'm At The Gate(s) on level 7 and can't find my lost way until 2012 brings on the party. Left alone in the dark corridors, the little girl in me is still hungry.

Part II - The Revenge Of The Part I

Anytime! Luckily I escaped the green-gray twilight zone to dig out some old fish.

There is the master plan for Tristania 2 and some background info about Tristania3D. For example like it consists of about "25000 different walltypes and 4000 static objects".
