Planet Nexion Released | |
Nexion has released 'Planet Nexion'. There are 5 extensive and well made levels and virtually all graphics and sounds have been changed. As the title suggests, the mod is set in the future and has sci-fi scenarios. Code changes include Directional Sprites, Outside Atmosphere and Helpart. Available here. |

Re: Planet Nexion Released
Just checked it out Nexion. It's unlike any wolf mod I have played! But I really like the creativity! Looking forward to finishing it!

Re: Planet Nexion Released
Hehe, nice. I guess it's a bit too weird for most people. I played it on difficult level 1 & 4. In my opinion it isn't that challenging.
Anyways, too easy or too hard?
Anyone found the black hole weapon?
Anyone suffered an epileptic fit because of the anti-time areas?
Is the level design good, bad or ugly?
Any bugs I missed?
Anything that I should consider for my next mod?

Re: Planet Nexion Released
Haven't played whole thing yet. Been really busy over here. But, the more I play, the less chance I am having from getting an epileptic fit. The walls don't seem to bother my eyes anymore... I really like the sci-fi story. Good stuff. And I really like your choice of music. (Descent!) I particularly like the music on the Read Me! section. Level design is good, although sometimes the Anti-Time deal screws me up. I seem to die quite a bit too. Don't really notice the health meter. But, that's just probably me sucking. Anyway, while it is a little out there, I like it Nexion.

Re: Planet Nexion Released
Awesome that someone likes my crazy sci-fi story. Thanks for your opinion. Feedback helps to improve the stuff. Maybe I should remove the difficult menu next time and put in a mega-easy mode. Ghost'n Goblins anyone?

I'm not surprised that you enjoyed it!
Level 2 is where I stopped last time. I don't know, those outdoor viney areas are a nuisance - lol. I will attempt to plow through it though. The black and white version is a bit harder, but I think I prefer the way all the pixels mesh together making everything more difficult to decipher and mysterious. The layouts and effects are clever under the surface.
edit: Finally beat Level 2! My level time was only 29:17... lmao
edit2: Time on Level 3 was 8:41 for comparison. This level was a lot more fun to me

I think i just slipped into a time portal and got spit back into the past.
Nice balanced time, at least you made it out of the jungle alive without losing nerves. Level 2 is probably the weakest level after all.
Though Level 4 might torture some innocent souls as well. Hope you didn't get any epileptic hallucinations from so much yin and yang on the screen.
The additional colors are a bonus anyways, only the melting graphics are the real deal. Besides with white you already have all colors there,
you just need to convince your brain or filter it with some glasses, hehe. Maybe a game with only white colors would be neat.

???
The question is: Was I ever alive?
Other question: Is Jayngo really undead now?
Curious Question(s): Can a cactuar be a dark wizard? Does it have veins to transport mana or only water?
Missing in question: Will Planet N ever have a rebooted sequel to the prequel?
