    Theodore Martin is addicted to meth amphetamine.
    He lives in a small appartment in New Jersey.
    He hasn't had contact with his family for four years ever since he failed their requests to go to rehab.
    He knows he should stop, but he hasn't got the strength.
    Theodore's life is in shambles. Monday, April 1st, 1991; Theodore, after having a particularly bad trip wakes up realizing that he has just jumped off of his balcony and fell three stories into some bushes.
    Realizing that he could have died, Theodore tries to get up to his appartment to try and reevaluate his life (again) but this time is attacked by an insane homeless person at the door.
    Theo flees and soon finds himself lost in the city that he thought he knew so well.
    Everything was still spinning from the last time he had used his drug.
    Not knowing where he was, Theo decided to take refuge in an alleyway until he could get his head straight.
    In moments hours have passed and he soon sees that it is already night time.
    Theo decides to go home, but gets attacked by the same homeless man he saw at his appartment.
    Not knowing what to do, Theo grabs the nearest object he sees (an ice pick) and blindly attempts to defend himself and blacks out.
    Upon awakening Theodore finds himself standing above the insane hobo who was now missing and eye and was too paralyzed by pain to retaliate.
    Theodore knew not what to do, and so he simply ran into the night.
    The city seemed different, everything seemed to be leading him somehwere. Everything was warped and distorted. The pedestrians seemed to only wear black and gray and they hid their faces in the shadows without saying a word to eachother. As they looked at Theodore they started walking toward him... slowly at first but they started building speed.
    Theo just ran into the night. He didn't know where he would be safe but he knew something was not right and that he would need to do anything he could to survive this nightmare.

    Overdose is a game that I have written and rewritten the story for with a friend for a while now and have just recently decided to make it a Wolfenstein 3d mod. It will be featuring an incredably dark and psychotic atmosphere digging close at the Theo's darkest fears. Never expect the darkness to lift and never expect a happy ending...

    The four weapons will be:
    -Ice pick: A very handy weapon if you don't mind going toe to toe with your darkest fears.
    -Beretta 92: Well you picked it off the streets so obviously it's been kinda beaten up and doesn't fire all that fast, but it's better than having to be in biting distance of your victim.
    -Mac10: Somebody was packing heat... but they obviously weren't quick enough to use it against the creatures. Bad luck for them, but good luck for you. The Mac10 is exactly what you needed to wade through hordes of whatever the hell you're fighting. The only downside is the ammount of ammo it eats up as you use it, so you might want to preserve it.
    -Franchi SPAS-12: If you thought that it was good luck that you found the Mac10, find yourself even more fortunate that you got your hands on one of these. The more menacing creeps will be blown away in single shots with this baby. Don't expect to find much ammo for it though, be thankful enough that you found the gun.

    The enemies are currently a secret, but I will be updating later with some pics when the time is appropriate.

    The graphics and maps will mostly be done by myself, though map help will be coming from some wolfing friends as well.

    I'll be updating soon with some pictures of Theo and his weapons.

    Smells like a mix of Condemned, Max Payne and a little bit Silent Hill. I like the idea and I am looking forward to this mod.
    So far the story is well written. 1st april + drugs? Tricky. So it might be only a april joke in the end and Theodore might killed many innocent people.

    Hmm, the date was actually chosen completely by random, the fact that it's April 1st was actually chosen because I wanted it to be on a Monday and to be the first of a month, so I looked at an old calendar of 1991 and that was the first one I saw. I'd also say that a lot more Silent Hill goes into this than most of the others, but then, I've never played Condemned so I'm at a loss there.

Theodore Martin (as you will know if you read the first post) is the drug addicted, long isolated young man who almost killed himself by accident and is now wondering through a hell-like New Jersey trying to avoid (but inevitably fighting) bizarre, zombie-like creatures that stumble the streets he walks on.

    Next update I'll discuss another one of my main characters in this game: The Freak.

    The Freak.

    A deformed psycho who's handywork can be seen throughout most of the streets of the game. However, as insane as he is, he is actually quite possibly Theodore's only friend in this whole fight. He will leave ammo and meat or medicine behind with blood messages on walls to help Theo out. He'll even appear in a couple windows to check up on Theo every now and then. It seems as though the monsters don't stand a chance against Freak, though it is unclear if he is actually a monster or not.

    I've already discussed him, so let's move on to one of the concepts for one of the harder enemies of the game, the Junkies:

    The junky is a slow moving creature with thick skin that will spit balls of corrosive blood at Theodore. They seem to follow a higher power, one that even seems to have some influence over Theo himself.

    Hmm, oddly enough I made an enormous update here but the post simply disappeared... I'll post most of the things I said in it tomorrow some time.

    Anyway, I was going to say a bunch of the new things I've coded for the mod but I guess they're mostly rather insignificant now that I think about it.

    The other half of the update was this picture:

    The remnants are the guys with the spike arms and legs and the shredded top-of-skull area. There's a couple normal zombies, a Homeless enemy, and one of the bosses: The Harlot. There's also some items there just as space fillers.

    Well, I've been getting some very supportive comments, and I thank all of you for them.

    Since you guys have been encouraging me to continue this mod so much I decided that I'll present you with a gift:

    That's the first frame of the Junky enemy that I made. The Junky enemy shoots acidic blood balls that do a good ammount of damage to the player, however they can be dodged. He moves slowly but can take a lot of hits before going down.

    Hopefully after seeing this you guys can start to imagine the style of the game more.

    Interesting concepts! The Remnant looks a bit like the little brother of the Slayer enemy from the game 'The Suffering'.

    The Junky sprite is excellent. Only the mouth is lacking some details. 
    It's an abominable and disgusting design. Thumbs up!

    Ok, well, I tried, but my code just got corrupted and now I'm without the code for Overdose :-/

    I need a coder, as I am not a coder and cannot code as well as I need to for this project to be gold.

    I'm just going to need some things like changing enemy behavior, adding ammo types, and changing a couple weapons. If anyone decides to code for this then I'll start saying other things that I need along the way.
