Big Time Gangster/Halls of Stonehenge Empty Big Time Gangster/Halls of Stonehenge

    Post by johnb1 Fri Sep 02, 2011 2:17 pm

some help on both of these would be very much appreciated
I don't consider myself to be a super Wolf3d player, so I do need some help from time to time
I've tried making a .bat file for each of these, but that doesn't seem to work, so I have to rely on my skills and quickness-
    not so good, eh?

I"m playing BTG right now, and it's very tough. I'm up against the first boss, with 85% health and 175 ammo and still die
so it's more of an scared experience. Of course both of which were made by Majik Monkee so they are very good, but very very tough.

so any help would be much appreciated
    thanks cheers

I'd love to help but you seem to have gotten further than me! BTG is pretty solid isn't it?

Unfortunately, I still haven't got around to play HOS or HOS/SE yet... There are just so many quality mapsets and TC's for Wolf it's hard to get through them all!

I've played through both and didn't have a lot of problems.

The only Boss that 'got' me was the 'Dog/soldier/hitler type variant in Hundschiesse. I wasn't expecting it and got to the area it was without much health and ammo but was still able to defeat it on about the 3rd go by being careful and trying different things.

BTG I didn't have much problem with. If you find the hidden area on Level 1 and get the hidden weapon then you can literally defeat the Boss in seconds.

Is the boss just another strafe and shoot boss? Can you try easier difficulty level? Very Happy Oh man, The Lost Relic was what got me in the difficulty. The last level was insane. I tried very hard, and had to sprint from a room to another. In the end, I had the boss that I barely had enough ammo to beat, handing around other bosses...

    Ahem. Cool

Yes- I suppose the boss is strafe and shoot
but he is VERY HARD, eg if you don't find the napalm launcher in level 1, almost impossible (at least for me)
you could make a .bat with -johnm in it, why.....oh....I dunno)

still likin' ol' H.K himself-saw him as a kid. Of course, I'm Canadian so we got....Rocket Robin Hood, Professor Kitzel
and Battle of the Planets (sandy frank version)...oh well, I"m an old goat, who cares?
