First one because it's the first time I made a mossy wall level in a new way - Broken up walls and other things. Instead making a normal room with rectangular rooms, etc, as if it were any other texture. So this first map was a large change from the way I mapped at the time and there were multiple ways to get to the first part of the level. [Level 2 of This Spear, Level 1 of SHS]
Second one [Level 3 of This Spear]
... Was nice because it seems that people really like the level. I like how the columns with brown weave area of the level shows a flat grey brick wall.
Third one [Level 16 This Spear]
...Is my favorite map. It took mapping ideas and concepts from ack and I took it and ran with it to make my own version of level 16. First part of the level is a bit broken up like the first level I showed but it has grey brick blotches scattered all over, but on top of that, the brown weave surrounds the red brick section of the map, and you can see the red section from the brown and vice versa, and the extra life hidden which you can't get without finding a secret later on. You have to find the first key outside of the red area, where the cyan steel, weave, water puddles, and parts of the map sealed off by static objects showing another wall type. And then the Ubermutant section is a bit creepy, long lines of guards and mutants, the actual Ubermutant room. Then back out, to the white brick area of the level, pretty extravagant.
Level 19 [This Spear]
I like the aesthetics of this map a lot, especially at the start. It's a bit whacko of a level.
