This is Jimmy Fallon’s Video Game week!
The June 17th, 2013 episode at http://www.hulu.com/watch/502090 has an animated video game opening sequence, The “Do Not Game” segment, a video game music band called Anamanaguchi, and an X-Box One Sneak Peak. Also, there’s Howard Stern being crazy and Alyssa Milano. The “Do Not Game” segment only: http://www.hulu.com/watch/501995#i0,p0,d1
My commentary responses:
I have Killer Instinct for The Super NES and I’ve beaten it. The race car game was in Prague in The Czech Republic. If I won the lottery, Prague would be one of the places I’d travel to.
In The “Do Not Game” segment, Jimmy Fallon plays dumb with The E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial game. The game makes perfect sense for anybody who has the instruction booklet and my sister and I have each beaten it. It was a spaceship, not an elevator. The dots are Reese’s Pieces. The coiled thing in the hole was a phone part, not a snake. The boy was Elliott from the movie, not Ernie from Sesame Street. The game was edited down by Jimmy Fallon’s show to practically nothing. I collect the 3 phone parts from the holes. Then I need to find the area with the symbol to call Elliott or the spaceship. I have to go to a specific part of the landing site with a different symbol when the agent and the astronaut aren’t around on the screen. That’s for the spaceship to pick me up. People forget that some games are difficult to beat without the instruction manuals. I have Jurassic Park for The Super NES, the instruction booklet for it, have beaten it, and I think it’s another game where you almost have to own the instruction manual.
