MUGEN is the Japanese word for infinity. It’s a fighting program where you get to mix and match characters from Mortal Kombat (Remember Sub-Zero?), Street Fighter II (Remember Chun-Li), Killer Instinct (Remember Fulgore?), Mario, Star Wars, Dragonball Z, from other games, custom characters, backgrounds, sounds, moves, endings, and etc.
There’s a First Person Shooter MUGEN that was conceived on Youtube, but never finished. I can’t find the video any more.

What if we add backgrounds like at 1:11 in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aFwDzRA7gk that don’t seem to belong to specific games? I’ve found an Egyptian ruins background that reminds me of Laz Roja’s The Portal.

Does this mean that we can take sprites from that 2-player Wolfenstein 3D game that DoomJedi and the others worked on? Splitwolf?
I was thinking about adding bonus stages and appropriate backgrounds like The Well of Wishes, The Wolf 3D background, Duke Nukem, Batman & Bane backgrounds, Pac-Man backgrounds, 2 Doom backgrounds, Egyptian backgrounds because of The Portal from Laz Rojas, and possibly Mega Man Backgrounds.
FPS characters that I would like to add would be the Cyberdemon (If I can copy sprites from Doom 2D games), the monster from Quake (If I can copy sprites from a 2D Quake game), Unreal character sprites from a 2D Unreal game, Doom 3 enemies from Hard Qore on fileplanet.com, Blazkowics from Splitwolf, Master Chief, Doom Guy, Duke Nukem, Return of The Triad characters, and etc.
If you are playing Mortal Kombat 3 for the first time, then it’s easier to beat Shao Kahn with Cyrax. I was thinking about Sub-zero from Mortal Kombat Wolfenstein 3D and adding Cyrax anyways, Chun Li from Street Fighter Wolfenstein 3D, Freddy Kruger from Sensenmann and Mortal Kombat 9, Mario from the cancelled Mario mod on Youtube, Mega Man characters from The Mega Man Wolf mods, Batman & Bane from Batman VS Bane, Duke Nukem and Doom Guy from All This And Wolf 3D, Pac-Man because of episode 3 level 10, Kung Fu guy from the original MUGEN, and etc.
As long as it’s a character or background from a bonus stage, a FPS game, or a game on The Wolfenstein 3D Dome or Wolfensteingoodies.com, then it’s fine with me.
I may or may not use Mortal Kombat Project 4.1 as a base. I need to download files and read MUGEN tutorials.
I have a question. Is a making a FPS MUGEN game with bonus stages worth our time? Would you help make it? Would you play it? If nobody is impressed or wants to play it, then I’m less likely to make it. Post suggestions like links to characters or backgrounds that fit.
