First topic message reminder :

Hey guys,

I've decided to move all of my rants, first from Facebook, to the Haven, to a blog site. It is at:

And I've named the blog "Minute Logic". No promises on when it will be updated, but at this moment I am working on fixing old and adding new content. Its focus as stated on the front page:

This is a blog featuring articles mostly on philosophy, and using rational and logical thought to analyze situations.

This is my latest blog post. This one is a little longer. It's about opportunity cost. Simply put, the $100 you spend on shoes could have been spent saving people's lives. Therefore, the thought goes, we are indirectly letting countless people die without a care in the world. Does this make us bad people? I think this is an interesting question.

It's not ultra-high quality stuff, as the title suggests. I briefly considered not sharing it, because I don't think it's high quality. More of just stream of consciousness stuff I happened to be thinking about that instant. But whateverz. Anyways... I don't spend that much time maintaining this blog, but I still think it serves a useful purpose. I will continue to maintain it. I might even modify the old posts to bump up the quality a bit. But of course, like nobody will re-read the old blog posts, if they bothered to read them at all. 

I've updated the blog, new skin, new interface, so it should be much easier to manage and go about different posts from different times.
I think the most popular posts are the Brain Droppings series. But those take a long time to write because they are the accumulation of everything miscellaneous and interesting I've found/learned in the past year, and sometimes I forget to write it down.

I have written two blog posts.

One is on free will, morality, AI, happiness, and Islam/Middle East. It's a very length post.

The other is the last one I will make for an indefinite period of time explaining why I am abandoning my blog right now.
