I'd pick only if the movie is done well. Might help bring some people into Wolf3d, but it'll bring attention onto Wolfenstein in general for sure. Vote if you want to see BJ kick *** on the big screen!

I just voted Yes! I know it's really bad but I wouldn't mind seeing a cheesy b-movie style or even a funny movie based on Wolfenstein RPG.

I voted 'No', 'cause I find movies boring in general, let alone tedious cheesy action clichés - whether or not they're rooted in an old game I sometimes modify for kicks.

I liked the opening, first person scene and the end titles. The OST was pretty cool as well. If they had followed the Doom canon I think the film would've been good. As it stands, it's a generic me-too movie with very little relevance to the Doom world. To my mind, it's kinda like saying that the Indiana Jones movie is a W3D film just because it's set in WWII with some occult stuff...

It is not difficult .. if the authors will try ..
But remembering the movie "Doom" hopes to see a good adaptation of a little.

The middle of the Doom movie was just horror/killing mutating monsters crap. And yeah, it had absolutely nothing to do with the game.

Wolf oughta be a western with CLINT as BJ... That's a must-watch.

Just watched a film that's a few years old now but is pretty much Wolfenstein on celluloid to my mind. That film is Churchill: The Hollywood Years. A total cheese-fest with lots of silly/bad jokes and caricature Nazis. I don't know why it's taken me this long to get around to watching it!

I really love those budget documentaries about WWII... Each time a Nazi is supposed to say something, usually as a document or a written order of some sort is shown, there's that cheesy German-English accent (which, however, is true - they really talk like that, no ****)... But it's just goofy. And Nazis were mean bastards.

Yes as long as they don't f-up the movie like they did to Doom. There was a Doom movie slated for 1996 with Tom Berringer as the Marine but instead we got the Rock and a movie(in 2000 or so) made by someone that never played the game....

Same goes for movies based on books. I haven't seen that many movies, so I'll just use the Harry Potter series as an example 'cause I'm verified in that department. They left out entire passages of books, but that's understandable seeing as the 5th book had close to 1000 pages! You can't possibly encompass that in one movie. Also, some features are left better to read rather than watch. Details, small-talk, long descriptions of places, people, facial features etc. etc... Movies ought to make people want to read the book, not the other way around.

I'm not doubting the entertainment factor in those movies. I also had a ball when I saw the first Harry Potter movie in the cinema. 'Twas in the olden golden days before the global financial crisis... You kiddies may not even remember.

Which Michael Myers?
Michael Myers the serial killer from Halloween? Or Michael Myers the comedian from Saturday Night Live and Shrek?Wolf3d Haven Forum... THE MOVIE. Starring Cactuar (Michael Myers) as Dark_wizzie and Undead Mutant (Brent Spiner) as stathmk.
Brent Spiner sounds familiar, I think that he's the Commander Data actor from Star Trek: The Next Generation or Star Trek: Deep Space 9.
