Mac-enstein 1st Encounter SDL Version Released

Andy Nonymous has released 'Mac-enstein 1st Encounter SDL Version'. The idea is to duplicate the experience of playing the mac First Encounter. This has been achieved quite well, for the 3 levels are close to the mac originals as are the graphics and sounds. There have also been many code changes made to emulate mac effects. All in all, it's quite a good effort and will particularly suit those who haven't yet played the mac version. Text file included. Available here. This will be a required file for future Mac-enstein SDL releases. (15.9Mb) - Vista/Windows 7-compatible.

It will be fine that one more version. Very Happy

But it would be desirable to ask..
in the future "Mac-enstein SDL" =100%= "original Mac Wolfenstein"?..
Whether there will be such menu, whether the card-level will open..
I will wait anyway for the new version.

It was my pleasure, Akuul!

I wanted to release it earlier in the year with some more changes, particularly to the level completed screen, but I had some unforeseen problems over the summer (family death) and was busier with other things (secret, secret) and it just didn't get done this time. Rather than wait another year I wanted to get something out before the holidays.

As for the future? I don't know yet, we'll see...

I will wait and watch news. After all you "Mac-enstein SDL" has ideally added the universe Wolf-3d which continues to develop thanks to all developers.

Won't stop the apocalyspe

Btw. Mac-BJ seems to have magical powers since his arms start to fly when he closes his eyes partly to some degree. And out of curiosity i found a secret statusbar menu in 2nd encounter sdl though i don't know how to activate it and the game kept thinking about it.
