Does anybody know the best free PDF makers? I want to scan instruction manuals for replacementdocs.com and the more than 200 pages of the ROTT Official Player’s Guide even if I can only put it online temporarily. I don’t care if the best free PDF makers are trial programs. I also want to scan The Bible and other books.

By scan, you mean put it through a scanner? That would be painful. I'm betting that any run of the mill pdf maker would work, though. I mean, whatever gets the job done, in my humble opinion.

I've heard good things about cute PDF:
http://www.cutepdf.com/
Also, I think Open Office does it as well these days which would be good as you can edit any OCR mistakes in the same package.
