LOL I haven't heard that song for a year or something and I'd totally forgotten about it. The song is chunky slice of funk, but the video is ridiculous. Thanks for that, Ron!

P.S. I would never listen to ABBA. I take this very seriously. Way too Swedish for me.

Found another one...

And that's Dutch as well! You guys could almost add the silly bird to your national treasury along with clogs and weed.

Re: What music are you listening to? Part II
Great find, Brian! Found one entitled "Flamingo Rock" on the Tube as well...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAqDVFjw4Ws
It is not rock, though. It is electronic music/techno made by one Bjørn Svin, a Danish experimental/hip hop-something producer. I've heard the name before, often associated with the leftist "Christiania" environment in central Copenhagen (which considers itself the centre of the country though it's practically in Sweden). But I don't know... "Flamingo" is a good word, but to use it in a music context seems difficult. Manfred Mann's song is a fantastic pop record, and maybe by using that word, other people didn't use it for the sake that they might be considered rip-offs for including the word in some sort or another.
FLAMENCO is something else though. Guitar virtuosity at its best (next after prog rock, of course).

Re: What music are you listening to? Part II
Indeed a great find, and a good song as well!
Flamingo always makes me think of Pink Flamingos, the John Waters movie, which then makes me think of Katy Perry casually namedropping it in one of her awful songs, which then makes me think of this: http://www.vice.com/read/take-a-stroll-with-rob-delaney-dear-katy-perry
Proof that awful things can be used to create great things.
And Flamenco is indeed awesome, I would break my fingers if I ever tried it though! Great guitar-style indeed.
