SATAN AND CHAINSAWS YEEEAHHH!
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report!

Return Trip and Doomantia by Electric Wizard are slower still lol. Actually that whole album of theirs (Come My Fanatics) is some of the heaviest music I've ever heard.

Slayer is slow at 45RPM . If you're into slow you should look up The Funeral Orchestra and Reverend Bizarre as well.

Great choice! By coincidence all I have been listening to this week is BOC's first four albums. Day before yesterday I was telling AReyeP to give On Your Feet or On Your Knees a good listen (and one of the best album covers EVER!).

Re: What music are you listening to? Part II
I've been listening to and almost bought some Blue Öyster Cult, but I felt I needed to get more into the music before buying the CD's. I think it's quite interesting music; "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" came out in 1976, yet it still carries that enigmatic psychedelic-type of sound most people probably thought were gone when the sixties were gone. Being primarily a prog rock and early hard rock/heavy metal fan, I think it's something that I need to get my hands on someday soon...ack wrote:Schabbs wrote:Screams - Blue Oyster Cult.

No but that's a good link. The 2nd group you posted is too close to Techno for my tastes. I especially like electronic stuff when I'm drawing, it just lightens the mood.

You might enjoy my massive Venom collection. I am very picky about the sub-genres of metal I like and the groups.
Space Synth just helps mix things up a bit.

Re: What music are you listening to? Part II
Sadly I think QUALITY black metal bands are somewhat a minority. Some just give the genre a bad name which makes me not always willing to admit what a huge fan I am.

Nice shirt! Although I'm more known for dressing like a tourist in Hawaii (sans straw hat). My hair does come down to my *** though.
Frankly I dislike some of the more well-known black metal bands (is it possible for a black metal band to be "well known"?) like Satyricon, Emperor and so on. Burzum, Darkthrone, Isengard, Drudkh, Hate Forest, Gorgoroth, Wedard and Fen tend to be my primary choices for black metal.

Okay this is Thrash Metal but we can understand easily some of the similarities. Venom after all is technically Thrash with a Satanic theme but they still deserve credit as early proprietors of Black Metal.
