Well, so did I, but it was with the rather (after I found out) annoying Buckingham/Nicks-combo on top of the McVie's and Mick Fleetwood. A looong way from psychedelic blues to "Tango in the Night".Dean wrote:Me too, I grew up listening them.Thomas wrote:Who knew this was such a good band?!

Yeah, that was quite different (though I personally like that formation as well, Rumours is a great album! ). I think 'Albatross' might be one of the last instrumentals that became a number 1 hit in England.

Re: What music are you listening to? Part II
You're pretty much right, I guess. "Rumours" is the only album we have in the house with Fleetwood Mac. I guess it's a good album. I just haven't listened to that genre for a while, but I can't help but think that Lindsey Buckingham is a great singer. I think my only doubts would be Stevie Nicks. She seems very much like one of those rich hippie-type of people that I don't like at all. But as long as she keeps it on a "low flow"... It's funny though. We used to have a greatest hits compilation and my younger brother had that new album, "Say You Will" in a special edition. I made my very first Wolfenstein modification listening to those albums! "The Chain" and "Tusk" were practically all I listened to in those green weeks.ronwolf1705 wrote:Yeah, that was quite different (though I personally like that formation as well, Rumours is a great album! ). "Albatross" is dreamy and really picturesque. I also like the original "Black Magic Woman" (though Santana's cover has more soul, in my ears) as well as "The Green Manalishi (With the Two Prong Crown)" and "Oh Well". The thing is, blues is really boring for me to listen to in the long run, so it's only the likes of Peter Green's mark of Fleetwood Mac (or Clapton's stint with Cream) that makes me want to listen to that genre.
But I don't know. I stumpled upon "Hypnotized" a couple of days ago and found out I dug that song many years ago when I first started browsing Torrentz. I need to get that album. If not for that funky album cover alone.

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report!

That was pretty epic. I ate some ice cream and it felt like I was in the olympics battling the pecans and expertly co-ordinating my way through the waves of neapolitan with my trusty Dairy Queen spoon.Dark_wizzie wrote:Most epic song in the world. Makes eating a sandwich epic.
