    I was just wondering, how did you guys come up with your internet names?
    Mines is Dark_wizzie, obviously. It's the name of a game account my friend in elementary school gave me, and I have been going with that name ever since.

    I know Brian's name comes from the boss in Wolf3d.
    Any stories on how you got your name? Some names on this forum are pretty interesting. Smile

    Back in the 1980's we could only put three letters when we got a high score on a coin-op video game (like Pac Man/Tron/Asteroids) or pinball. I used 'ack' and it stuck. Back then Bloom County was a huge syndicated comic strip in North America. One of the characters, Bill the Cat, uttered 'ack' and 'phbbbt' all the time. Sorry ya asked? Wink

    Nice topic.

    I got mine this way....

    Back in 02' when I was setting up my very first email account, my buddy was helping me out and I said I wanted it to be Jango26 (after the Star Wars bounty hunter Jango Fett). However he spelled it wrong (Jayngo) more like the spelling of my last name, and it stuck.

    The 26 refers to "my number". Everybody has a number, right? I got mine after one of my favorite football players-Rod Woodson who was number 26.

    Now I use Jayngo or Jayngo26 for everything. My xbox gamertag is Jayngo as well...
