Acord Games has released 'Gloom'. The levels come from various sources and are mostly quite extensive. Some of the graphics and sounds come from ROTT sources and fit very well. The weapons look especially good. Code changes incude gun bobbing, and 3rd plane floor and ceiling textures. Available here: Gloom. Updated October 14, extra health and ammo added to some maps. Updated October 20, level 19 exit bug fixed.

Gary Acord and I exchanged emails. Yesterday, he told me that he's working on the no sound glitch in Gloom.

I think it was just he set the config.wl6 file to 'no sound'. This has been fixed in the latest version.

Gloom Released Empty We need help with a Gloom glitch.

Post by stathmk Tue Oct 19, 2010 10:21 am

Acord Games is not yet a member of The Wolf3D Haven or The Diehard Wolfers’ Bunker. However, Acord Games has contacted me that there’s a glitch in level 19. When you exit level 19, it goes to level 5 instead of 20. Does anybody know how to fix this glitch?
    Download Gloom at http://www.mediafire.com/?5c0r9888va7lwr8
This temporary link goes to the save games: http://www.wolfensteingoodies.com/wolfensteingoodies/forums/gloom/GloomSAV11-20.zip
The last save game will be what should go to level 20 in the elevator. Does anybody know what causes this?

Gary has now fixed the Gloom level 19 exit elevator bug by having the game end after 19 straight levels.

Yeah, he sent me a message that he sent the updated Gloom to the Brazilian web site or company that I think that I mentioned. He's dividing the 60 levels into Gloom, Gloom 2, and Gloom 3. He's making new title screens.
