This is a continuation of this thread: https://wolf3d.darkbb.com/help-desk-f15/what-s-the-best-free-program-to-record-computer-game-playing-t1285.htm I was told to use Hypercam, but for the last 2 days I've been trying Camtasia. I've never uploaded a video to Youtube yet.
Here are the format options for producing a video in Camtasia:
-MP4 (Flash output)
-SWF (Flash output)
-WMV (Windows Media Video)
-MOV (Quicktime movie) There are all sorts of ways to produce an MOV, so if you want me to use an MOV then you are going to have to be more specific.
-AVI (Audio Video Interleave video file)
-M4V (iPod, iPhone, iTunes compatible video)
-MP3 (audio only) I doubt if I'm going to use this one
-RM (RealMedia streaming video)
-CAMV (Camtasia for RealPlayer streaming video)
-GIF (animation file)
So, how do I produce a video if I want it to also be on Youtube? I don't have an iPod or iPhone, so I'm not worried about converting it to those formats.
