Some Thoughts

So just to say some things most people already know... Basically, I made this forum when I was very young. I made some Wolf3d maps when I didn't have internet connection in my spare time. Most of the maps were pretty crappy but I think I got a bit better with This Spear. I was pretty checked out of Wolf3d community several years later. As I got older I had more freedom to do what I wanted and I gained many new hobbies and interests so Wolf3d got abandoned. I know some people have had gripes with the way the site has been run lately, but somebody had to manage the forum when I left.

We're all getting older and the community gets smaller and smaller. Forums and sites come and go. It is what it is.



I'll remember all the stupid shit/cringe stuff I did when I was young in the Wolf3d community though, for better or worse. Ahhh, the memories.

Good to hear from you. I still enjoy some of the maps you did, insane as they were. Have you any interest in returning to map making at some point?

Maybe one day I'd do something small and relatively mundane... 1 episode, 10 level map pack or something.

That could very well be interesting. It's always good to see people who once had the mapping bug never quite disappearing completely. In either case there are many good options now, with so many different ports being available. A straight map pack would also indeed be welcome.
