    Hello. Does anybody know how to edit the story texts in Doom? You know, for example before the Wolfeinstein secret level "Congratulations, you've found the secret level, etc." Hmm?

    I’ve been from level 15 or 20 of Doom 2: Hell on Earth to The Wolfenstein secret level, so I know of what you’re talking about.
     
    I don’t know how to help you with the text.
     
    How serious are you about making this Wolfenstein 3D in Ultimate Doom or Doom 2: Hell on Earth mod?  I think that it’s important that I tell you that the guys except for me aren’t interested in collecting Wolfenstein 3D in Doom 2: Hell on Earth mods anymore onto http://wolfenstein3d.co.uk/news.htm .  They will not be posted on that page anymore.  Laz Rojas was one of the editors.  There was a thread on diehardwolfers.areyep.com where nobody besides me wanted to collect Wolfenstein 3D in Doom 2 mods.  The thread also said that http://wolfenstein3d.co.uk/ will be brought back by Tristan from The Netherlands on about October 1.  I will however, post 1 thread probably once a year on wolfensteingoodies.com with Wolfenstein 3D in Doom 2 mods from the year.  Try to finish your mod by Christmas Eve and contact me.

    So don’t get too upset that we’re focusing only on posting only Wolfenstein 3D mods, but not Doom 2 mods onto http://wolfenstein3d.co.uk/ anymore.  I’m sorry.

    Actually I'm planning to translate Ultimate Doom, Doom, Doom 2 to my language as well as Wolf3D.
    And I never planned to remake Wolf3D in Doom 2 or anything else.

    Hi Wolfszemi!  I found a similar thread on the Doomworld Forums that details the answer to your question.  In short, there are code chunks in the Mapinfo lumps in IWADs that contain the intermission text.  I hope that helps!
