Where is Brian?

Does anyone know where Brian is? I am starting to worry about him. I hope he is ok. I sent him two SDL mods and he has not replied back.

Maybe he is busy with stuff.

I heard from Brian. He has a hand problem and cannot update the dome news.

I managed to post endgame and Amazing grace.

Where's Brian?  I hope he's OK.  He hasn't posted my news in over 36 hours and this isn't like him.

I don't think there's any need to excuse. You've done so much for this community for the past 15 years, probably more, so 36 silly hours of "inactivity" oughtn't cause any worry whatsoever. Some people tend to forget there's more to life than hanging around message boards.

Thank you for posting news about DOSBox that I've found out.

If you went a week or 2 without uploading then maybe I'd post my email address.  Then Wolfers can send their new mods to me and I'd post them on my web site.

Yes, there's indeed more to life than posting on message boards.  But my web sites will be on my web portfolio while I'm job searching if I need a web design career.  I have a life.  I work, want to move, and switch jobs.

48 hours isn't that long, folks. People can go for weeks in forums and I won't even notice half the time. We just figure you lost interest or got busy the other half when we DO notice.

Latest news on the hand problem is that it's worse than last time. It flared up a lot quicker this time. Called the Doctor out today and he prescribed some tablets to try and ease the stiffness and tremors. He said I'd need to go for some more tests if they don't work.

If that was supposed to be funny, it wasn't.  I don't appreciate you making fun of Brian's pain.  It's called dopamine dystonia and/or chronic fatigue syndrome.  If it's chronic fatigue syndrome, then it's believed to be caused by viruses, especially the same virus that causes mononucleosis.  There are more than 80 autoimmune disorders.  Multiple sclerosis for instance and certain other disorders come and go.  You typed that they have 7 years of university to become con artists?  Faith healers, socialist health care providers, and alternative or herbal healers are even bigger con artists.  The alternative healing or herbal drug interactions can can make things worse or give you a false sense of security.  These people have $$$ in their brains and nothing else?  How would you know, are you a corrupt, greedy doctor?  If doctors and medical researchers were paid less or sued more, then there would be less incentive to be a doctor or medical researcher.  Aren't you a computer programmer?  If computer programmers were paid less or sued more, then there would be less incentive to be one.  Our family friends' daughter visited Romania.  The healthcare is down the toilet there.  They practice much more euthanasia than America does.  The Romanian doctors say, "We'll send him home or to the hospice to make him comfortable."  That's a euphemism for killing him.  Maybe it's your attitude that you trust criminals and used car salesmen before doctors, law enforcement, and governments.  How would you know, are you a criminal or used car salesman?  I thought that I saw an article that doctors almost have the most prestige in America, and scientists have the most.  What are your credentials?  Why are doctors doing everything that they can to keep somebody like you who hates doctors alive?  Here in America, the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) will make premiums go up 50% or more in 49 states.  The other state is Delaware, where it's going up only 25%.  These politicians have the audacity to mislabel it as the Affordable Care Act.  You typed, "It's 2013, there's over 7 billion people in the world. ..."  OK, but type National Organization for Rare Disorders in a search engine and there are over 1,100 rare disorders for 7 billion people.  I seriously doubt that you understand 30,000 human genes, drug interactions, protein folding, radiology, chemotherapy, diagnosis, and etc.  I don't understand either, but I'm honest about not understanding, and I respect doctors.  You typed, "Take these unrelated random pills by the company that's paying me the most. ..."  Unrelated random pills?  What do you care?  You don't understand and with that attitude you possibly never will.

On a personal note, I don't like you typing incorrect info that you're 13-years-old so that you can get away with typing things like a 13-year-old does.

Seconded. I mean, we all know Chokster37 (because there's a 38 on here... ...), he's the joker of the forum , so we shouldn't take him too seriously. I personally believe not even a bit of what he said was meant to offend Brian and anyhow, who would actually have reasons to offend him in the first place?

But I get stathmk's point too. He was just defending his beliefs and points of view. I cannot stress enough how important that really is, seriously!

Look, we're all missing the point here. This forum was made to talk about Wolf 3D in a friendly manner, and other topics too! We all are entitled to one opinion, that's right, but here in Portugal, I see people worrying about the economical crisis we're deeply into, at the moment (this is just an example). After all, if we would just live for that one reason, why even bother? The most important thing to me is to be healthy. The other things are just secondary things that, in my humble opinion, don't even deserve the recognition they're getting in people's lives.

Sorry for the long post, and I want to clarify that that's just my opinion.

...Oh. ... I had almost forgotten. Brian sent me a Facebook friend request at his new account. I thanked him for friending me even if it's just for me to know that he's still around and still checking his messages once in a great while. With Parkinson's they don't like to type. I just want you to know he's still around.
