This month's Dome awards go to James Shain for 'The Final Fight', and to Little Cherub for 'Guns And Glory'. Regarding 'The Final Fight', credit should also be given to others who contributed, particularly WLHack and ack. For more info on these sets - please see Add-ons - Awarded. Please note: Executor's 'Wolfenstein Sextilogy' will be considered later when the other episodes are completed.

Wow this is great, this is the first time I have ever even contributed to a game that won an award. Good job James, and everyone else who helped with Final Fight
Also congratulations to Little Cherub for his success with Guns and Glory. It came out a really fun and inventive game.

I can't believe that I've won this award. Guns and Glory is also just as fun to play.

I was going to write something about your mod receiving the award but then remembered that Brian (who give's the awards) was involved in the making of the mod. Not that it matters, it's his award to give as he feels...

I didn't take account of my input into the mod when giving the award. I felt there was enough there done by others to warrant an award.

I know its probably not right to put the award as my avatar but I'm amazed that my addon won the award to begin with.

You don't need to be amazed, just be natural.lilmanjs wrote:I know its probably not right to put the award as my avatar but I'm amazed that my addon won the award to begin with.
And you really deserve this award I hope the mutant uprising will be as that good.
And good luck with it

Hmmm, ok. I wasn't accusing you of bias, more saying that you had more 'insider' knowledge to the quality of the mod. I only got through a few levels....Schabbs wrote:Dean wrote:I was going to write something about your mod receiving the award but then remembered that Brian (who give's the awards) was involved in the making of the mod. I think there was another mod released this mod that was extremely unlucky not to win an award. But then again, I had the same 'insider' knowledge as to it's quality.

I still feel that the 2 awards I gave were the better ones, but in view of the large number of good mods in one month, perhaps I should have given one more award. During the next few days I will check out the other mods again and may make another award.

Sorry Brian, I didn't mean that should give another award. It's your award and you can give it to whomever you feel.
I just guess from time to time others may disagree with your selection and have a different opinion on which mods were better than others, but hey, opinions are like bottoms, everybody's got one...

I believe that Chris Chokan is a boy, and then there is another Chris in the Wolfenstein community who is a girl.

He was also the brains behind ATAW, I'd say. It'd be a very dull game if he hadn't done the coding.
