I have absolutely no clue. I've converted MIDIs to IMFs and put them into a mod....problem is, alot of them I end up not using simply because they are too loud in-game and practically drown out all other sound effects. This is extremely frustrating as I can't seem to find any way to change the volume of my midis or imfs before I put them in.

can you post some of your midis (before conversion) that are too loud?
I could give you some general hints, but I'd rather see what you're dealing with first.
by the way, it's "en français?" not "en francais?". POSER!

yes, I'm not really french....
but what's there to post? I soimply want to know how and with what to change volume levels on either MIDI/IMF/MUS files. Alot of ones I've tried have turned out to be fairly loud. If you really want to know, here's some examples of MIDIs I've tried:
http://www.vgmusic.com/music/computer/microsoft/windows/OMFMenu.mid
http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/gba/CVHoD-_Marble_Corridor.mid
http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/gba/(clockt).mid
Here is my default midi player:

It's Wingroove WGPlayer. I highly recommend as it makes your midis sound amazing.

from what i know, the windows media palyer latest version allows you to auto resize the sound volume on lets say, a cd. then you can make it into the imf form through lots of differant conversions. but this is the ahrd way and tedious way to do it, i think.

cool songs SilverIce!
have you tried Cakewalk's Scale Velocity option? I put it to 50% and this is the result:

haha... yes, I've heard of Wingroove too. I like it because it's wav based, though some of the instruments are a little weird (like the electric guitar sounds). My version of WinGroove is pretty old (2000?), though it's still a blast to make tunes with.
