Hey guys! This one's a big more of a personal one. WolfSource got a revamp the other day, and now looks like the following:
It runs much faster, but the logo is currently rather generic and no longer fits.
I'd like to open up the design of the logo to the community, with a contest split into three parts.
All entries should be in .png format, for all parts of the contest
Part 1: Logo
The main focus is the logo for the website. This contest is looking for images that fulfill the following requirements:
* Have "WolfSource" clearly somewhere in the image.
* 700x175 in size
* Preferably Wolf3D themed, but with a mix of the other games welcome
They can be full banners with backgrounds, or transparent logos.
Part 2: Discord Icon
Currently, the Discord server uses an image from the Wolf3D title screen as it's icon image. This part of the contest is looking for an image to replace it.
* Wolf3D/WolfSource themed
* "Minimum 512x512 in size" (Try to keep it square)
Part 3: Twitter avatars
The same image is being used for the Twitter account image.
* 400x400 in size
* Related to any of the games/mods/etc
As this is a competition specific to myself and the website rather than community-focussed, I would like to offer prizes for each part of the contest. For 1st place in each section, I'd like to offer the choice in one of the following:
1) $10 USD sent to a paypal account
2) A steam game to the value of $10 USD
In the case of the Twitter avatar, there will be a prize for both 1st and 2nd. A choice of:
1) $5 USD sent to a paypal account
2) A steam game to the value of $5 USD
Ties will result in a tie-breaker vote to determine a winner.
This is out of my personal funds. If you are interested, please reply to this thread, or in the equivilant I have posted to DHW. I'd like to close entries a month from the day this post goes up (1am 23rd of May, whatever it says for you in the thread's timestamp), and have voting for a week or so afterwards.
