I am not a fan of the prosperity gospel where people say sow a money seed and you will prosper in the Lord. It does not work that way.

Good.
Good.
I have seen James Randi in person, who exposed Peter Popoff's prosperity Gospel.
There's a British, Irish, or Scottish comedian on Toutube. John Oliver?? He exposed the prosperity Gospel.
On Leah Remini's "Scientology: The Aftermath," she exposes that Scientology is a cult that got tax exempt status in 1993.
Televangelists don't mention the passages from Matthew, Mark, & Luke where Jesus says that it's easier for a camel to go through an eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God:

I saw Dolly Parton on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. Dolly Parton said that her father was a Christian who didn't go to church & thought that the preachers only cared about money. One preacher stopped at her father's farm & said, "That's some farm that you & God have got." Then Dolly's father responded with, "You should have seen the S.O.B. when it was just God by himself!"

Some updates on what I've typed
Here’s James Randi exposing Peter Popoff in “Secrets of Psychics Revealed,” an episode of PBS’ Nova from the 1993-1994 season: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I got to see James Randi speak at Butler University in about 2009. He talked a little bit about Sylvia Browne from The Montel Williams Show. During the question and answer session, I raised my hand. I was called on. Then I said, “I have a joke. Sylvia Browne says that she’s a medium. She’s actually an extra-large!” Then they laughed and James Randi said that they call her, “The Claw.”
I have a season of Penn & Teller BS on DVD. In the extra features, they both talk to James Randi about Peter Popoff. Peter Popoff was more evil or deceptive than they made him look on PBS’ Nova.
Yes, parodies were made by John Oliver & here’s the videos: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=john+oliver+prosperity+gospel (Something is wrong with the link & you must copy and paste it.)
Have you ever seen “Leap of Faith” with Steve Martin?: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Lucian of Samosata
Joshua, I’ve seen William Lane Craig preach his confusing sophistry at a Purdue University debate in about 2004 with about 3,000 in the audience. I don’t know if you’d appreciate all 3 William Lane Craig debunked videos from AnswersInEddas. However, watch at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] from 7:09 to 7:41 about Lucian of Samosata. Pay attention to the second screen that starts with,
“They scorn all possessions without distinction and treat them as community property. They accept such things on faith alone, without evidence. So if a fraudulent and cunning person who knows how to take advantage of a situation comes among them, he can make himself rich in a short time.”
Then the background fades to a televangelist Joel Osteen event. So, televangelists of the Prosperity Gospel sound like charlatans who take advantage of other Christians for money and fame. I thought that you’d find this Lucian of Samosata quote informative and that you can use it if you have a Christian friend who wants to send money to a televangelist of the Prosperity Gospel.
