The free Demon site which has the first few years of Dome News is closing down in about 18 months. The Demon server is only 20 Mb and doesn't have many mods on but it has a lot of early Wolf3d news. I'm ok with it if somebody wants to save it

Brian, can you please upload the demon site to media fire and let me archive it on archive.org? I will send you an email about this.

Hi Josh,
The file is DEMON.ZIP and hasn't been updated since I last uploaded it to mediafire a few years ago. I checked on mediafire and the same file is still there so you should already have it.
The first Wolf3d News page on there is from 1999 and at present displays with a url of http://www.belowe.demon.co.uk/index1.html . There are 9 index pages which cover the news until the Dome took over.

Thanks Josh. Do you have a link to it ? The 2 files for the Archive Index menu, index.html and indexf.html files (indexf.html is for the frames version) should work ok. The 9 news files, index1.html thru index9.html should not need much adjustment.

Hi Michael. I will try and come more often but I won't be updating the Dome. Parkinson's is very difficult to treat. Glad you like Revival of Memories.

Re: Demon Old Wolf3d News Site Closing
Amazing to see you here, Brian. I definitely felt your absence.
I also appreciate the will to preserve some of the earlier history. It's a little funny to me, since, by the time I entered this community (well, let's try not to remember much of me during those days, it could be embarassing ), that news were already "olds". Still, it's nice to be able to look at the past and see how things evolved.
I hope you'll be able to come here to the forum more often.

Brian, I had forgotten to tell you 2 things this week.
-Andy_Nonymous from the forums hasn’t logged in since February & nobody seems to know what happened to him.
-Tristan’s plans for the launch date of The Wolf Front have been moved from this October to before January 1. My opinion is that you should see the new web site at least once, post in the forums a couple sentences about how you like it, & type a little bit about how you’re doing. I wish you the best.
