Wolfenstein 3D Three Episode Version Questions

I hope 3D Realms is able to release the original three episode version of Wolfenstein 3D for free for people who already own the six episode version. I want to know what this game was all about. I cannot find screenshots of the three episode version online. I am interested in the Read This screen. Maybe the browser version is close to the original version. The browser version is only three episodes. The browser version though does have different music based on the iphone app. Can someone on here describe the differences between the three episode version and the six episode version? I want to know the differences with the read this help texts also.

Today, on DHW, I found out that a three episode version of Wolfenstein 3D can be accessed just by changing the filename extensions from wl6 to wl3. There is not really a change in versions except the episode selection screen is similar to the episode 1 shareware release. Only episodes 1, 2, and 3 can be selected.

I almost bet that a businessman working for Apogee, ID Software, 3D Realms, Activision, or etc would consider it to be a derivative work to sell only the 3-episode version.  I can't find the 3-episode version on ebay anymore.  You can get Wolf Pack (RTCW, Wolfenstein 3D, & 3 episodes of The Spear of Destiny) from http://store.steampowered.com/app/9000/ for $9.99 instead of $14.99 like it was before.
