Hey everyone,
I'm Milanor, another fellow wolfer that has grown up with wolf3d throughout childhood and more. I could remember one of my first FPS games was wolfenstein 3d on the PC back in the early 90's and I would play it on the Windows 98 oftenly. Then about a year later, I found a community of wolfers namely from Mr. Lowe's wolf3d news page and his homepage. Ever since then, I would play countless wolf3d mods during my free time and after school.
As I've grown older and studied computer coding at university, I got interested in learning coding and modding wolf3d about a year ago, but I'm still a newbie in the modding community. I've started out with modding (from the original wolf3d code that runs in DOS) on the DOS platform about a year ago, but then decided to switch over to SDL recently (due to it's advantages). I've been struggling with even trying to set up the SDL library and development environment in order to resume modding again.
Regards,
-Milanor
