Just in case you're interested. Also, Neil deGrasse Tyson is redoing the Cosmos series after Sagan, science/astrophysics oriented show. Produced by Sethmcfarlane, the dude who made family guy, special effects by the guys at the Matrix.
I watched the debate even before you posted. I'm going to type about what I know about Nye and Ham another time.
In September, I saw Neil Degrasse Tyson at Purdue University with 4,000 other people: Purdue
Sagan's and Tyson's Cosmos edited for rednecks:

At the end of today's episode of Cosmos they had a preview that included the Arizona Meteor crater. I've been to there and the Visitor's Center in 2002. The Arizona Meteor Crater is 50,000-years-old. The Crater was in the movie Starman and I liked that movie. It focuses on a good storyline and makes use of the special effects at the time without overemphasizing special effects: Starman on Internet Movie Database
In tonight's episode of Cosmos, Tyson said something to the effect of, "We don't know what happened between when the universe started and when the universe was 380,000-years-old." I'm not sure if I get it. I've heard about the same thing before.
