I guess you can't trust even DropBox.
About 40%-50% (and in some folders - up to 70-80%) of TR Dropbox files where lost - for unknown reason.
I work directly from DropBox - so I don't have any backups for that art.
Most of the sprite files can be saved/extracted back from VSWAPs and VGAGraphs (and most of those can be extracted from source backups) - so I don't see it putting our current in-dev projects in immidiate danger - as I prepared VSWAP for each....but so much of my non-VSWAP art was lost - like "classic" alternative versions for Batman Bosses - and other art I meant to probably share with Wolf3D community at some times. Not all frames lost, but too many frames to recover.
No folder got safe from this...
