    The Story

Dracula and his legion have been wiped off the face of the Earth. The war between humans and vampires is over. But it wasn't long before both races would be caught in a different war...

My name is Rain. I'm one of the vampires who were able to resist Dracula's control. After the last war, I joined the newly formed Coalition of humans and vampires. The Coalition is led by Thomas, the soldier who destroyed Dracula. Despite being human Thomas has been like a father to me.

Yet there were many humans who still hated and feared my kind, so we decided to build our own city called "the Abyss." For years, the Abyss was a haven for all the vampires who survived the L-Bomb in the last war. Together, we were strong and safe, or so we thought. But all that changed when a new enemy arose...

My brother Alucard and I were called for a secret mission. Thomas sent us to find out the cause of a massive energy spike which originated from a Chinese military lab.

When we got to the lab, the place was a mess and everyone was dead. But the lab archives shed some light on what happened there. Apparently, elements within China's government had been secretly looking for a way to create their own vampire army, having seen the effectiveness of Dracula's soldiers in battle. They had taken blood samples from three dead vampires named Edmund, Isa, and Jason. Using these blood samples and some kind of advanced genetic engineering, the Chinese scientists were able to re-create them as "Neo-Vampires."

But as with all cheap imitations, these fake vampires were imperfect... they were emotionally unstable, drank plasma, and had a tendency to sparkle and glow after death. They were a mockery of my people! And judging from all the dead scientists lying around, it seems the Chinese couldn't control the Neo-Vampires, and they got loose. So where were they now?

Before Alucard and I could find out more, we were suddenly ambushed by a large group of newly-created Neo-Vampires...

I actually don't find downloading songs for Wolf3d mods... if I was a coding god and got WNE up and running, I'd be using MP3 files.

That is interesting indeed... In the first two pictures the problem seems to
be with recognizing the wall sizes so the problem might be in HitHoriz / HitVert...

    Just some questions...
That green crate(?) in the second picture. Is it the vertical or horizontal
side that is wrong? Also in the 3rd and 4th picture... That wall that turns black,
is it the same side that is causing problems as it was in the first two pictures?
Also does this happen with doors as well?

If the this problem is occurring only in certain wall side, that might give us some
hint what is wrong... Also if this is happening only in walls and not in doors,
check what is different in shading the door and walls and see if you find the bug.

One more though... When you generate the shading, do you clear the old shading first?
I don't think that this causes this problem, but you should check that too...

I think I need to contact WSJ... Anyway some quick test you could do.
Place a single wall in the middle of a room and walk around it. Now you can see whether this
bug occurs only when you are facing the wall in a certain direction.

I think doing this would help us to figure out what is going on with the bug.

Bad News..We Reverted the Advance Shade Code to the old one....I'm sorry its still buggy and uneven shading...

But this Project is ALSO DONE!! just a Few Months to go....

I like the status bar, very modern looking. I don't know whether or not it fits (as the screens portray what to me looks like old castle surroundings) but you usually use an interesting variety of guards, so I don't have any hangups about it. Your usage of 128x128 and extravagant coding is usually top notch. This must be mod number 30 or something from you... lol. Not that there's anything wrong with that! Your recent works have been pretty slick, both coding and difficulty-wise.

Man its very hard to get this game out huh? lol

its been close to 6 years since I've started Project: X Insurrection and the game is slowly inching its way out, but I've been hiting speed bumps like my Let's Play Channel, Life, work, going to meet my Girlfriend or anything else its really putting the pressure on me.

Also I'm not going to Cancel the game at all no no no not by a long shot lol, But there is one things I wana give out to the community here...I'm giving up my Lost World Series Mods to someone else...i was thinking of giving the Series Reboot to WSJ, Doomjedi but i have little to no intrest in making a part 2 or a 8 as promise since i'm more into making Project: X, Wolf of Rage, and my soon-to-be-announce survival horror (maybe).

Is anyone still waiting on this mod to be finished, i don't want to dissapoint every single one of you guys at all I am giving my all on this mod and its really putting the pressure on me sadly.

Thanks I look forward to your comments.
