It's a tough one, for sure. Trial and error are part of the puzzle gameplay, I suppose. Did you get past the tutorial level?

If you keep those mechanics in mind, that should atleast help you. This is quite different from the standard Wolf3d gameplay, so perhaps it takes a bit to get used to.
