Should I buy a 160 or 320 GB Playstation 3?

Should I buy a 160 GB or the more expensive 320 GB Playstation 3? That's my understanding of how many gigabytes they have. How many gigabytes does a typical game take up on the hard drive? Have any of you ever taken up more than 160 GBs on a Playstation 3?

For instance, say that somebody were to buy Mortal Kombat 2011 with the downloadable content for Freddy Krueger, Kratos, and the other extra characters. How many gigabytes would that be?

Save your money and put it toward a PC instead. With emulation software you can easily play almost any game from a console. Although a stock Wii sucks, if you mod it with a hard drive or ssd card it can play thousands of titles. (not just Nintendo stuff either) Not bad if you get a used one for $50.

Although the PS3 has a blueray player I wouldn't use it often for movies because a console is much better suited for playing games. I'd much rather watch a movie on a PC than waste the life of a console on silly movies. Just my 2cents if you want the most bang for your buck. Heck if you let me build one I'd make you a machine for $900 that would blow away anything triple the cost from any store. Not to bash console gamers but after all those special edition games, DLC content and whatnot how much money have they squeezed outta you? Way more than a PC ever will.

I still haven’t gotten a PS3 yet because I’ve been doing other things. I might buy a backwards compatible 20, 60, or 80 GB PS3.

The CECHEO1 PS3 is one of the models that will play PS2 and most PS1 games, so I did an Ebay search. There’s a PS3 with Jessica Alba printed on it, upgraded from 80 GB to 120 GB, and will play PS2 and most PS1 games. It’s expensive. Wolfenstein 3D is on Playstation Network on Youtube, but I have no idea if they have features where you get to make your own levels. I thought that since you like Jessica Alba, computers or consoles that will play Wolfenstein 3D, and other games then I’d link to the page. This person's auction might last as long as 21 more days on Ebay. I bet that you wouldn't mind if Jessica Alba was nude and you both talked about Philosophy and Physics. That would be intellectually stimulating.

Oh GOD lol. Jessica Alba was just a random example. It was taken from a video where the guy said Angelena Jolie but I couldn't bother to spellcheck her name, so I went with Alba. And I still have not bothered to spellcheck it as you can tell. I've seen that picture of Alba before.

I don't know. I think it looks silly with a white color and a blonde. If it was a bit darker and you added someone like Mila Kunis, then it might do the trick.

I would never buy one though. PS/computer/anything technic gear should stay as it is, in my opinion.

Maybe there’s something to what Thomas is saying and that it would sell better with a picture of Mila Kunis! Mila Kunis is the sexiest woman on the planet in Reddit, Esquire magazine, FHM magazine, and #3 in Maxim magazine! Be very cafeful telling a lady she's the most gorgeous woman to grace planet Earth or she'll think that you're cheating on her with the most gorgeous woman on Mars, Venus, Klingon, or Romulus!

I might wait until I move to buy a backwards compatible Playstation 3 off of Ebay.

I thought that you're in Ontario. There are more than 80 languages in The California school system. I had heard on the radio once that there's a Klingon-speaking Elementary School, but I don't know if it's in California! As if school wasn't awkward enough already. Those schools that speak Lakota Sioux, Chocktaw, Creek, Navajo, Hopi, other Native American languages, Chinese, French, Spanish, and other Earthling languages look normal now. !Que Lastima! !Adios, mi amigo!

There's some big gaming expo thing on in America this week, Sony will be unaviling the PS4 there. Both new versions of Xbox and PS will be out by Xmas

$500 for new Xbox. I'd rather pay double for PC (not sarcasm). Might get it end of this year, new computer... hmm...

Should I buy a Playstation 3 Slim package with The Last of Us and Batman Arkham Origins or a package with different games?  Do you recommend those games?  I know practically nothing about the differences between Batman Arkham Asylum, Batman Arkham City, and Batman Arkham Origins.  I've only heard of The Last of Us and I need to research it more.  I've heard that Bioshock Infinite has a perfect 10 in every category and I might buy that later.

Oh, I had almost forgot.  I don't know whether I'll buy Wolfenstein 2: The New Order for PC or PS3.

Just figure out which got higher ratings. PC game will be better assuming your PC can keep up. Don't forget you can replace PS4 HDD with a SSD. If you do, then getting a larger capacity HDD is pointless.
