I also think that it's cool. It reminded me of my Wolfenstein 3D Lego sets at http://www.wolfensteingoodies.com/wolfensteingoodies/w3d/lego/w3dlegosets.htm Look at http://www.wolfensteingoodies.com/wolfensteingoodies/ocge.htm#Minecraft where somebody already did Episode 1 map 1.

I've heard of Minecraft before. Sign up for free membership from fileplanet.com and email newsletter messages sometimes will include Minecraft mods.

I'd like to see episode 3 level 10 played in Minecraft on Youtube.

When you finish your Minecraft levels, you can email them to me and I'll put them on Wolfensteingoodies.com . Schabbs' server can only hold files up to 3 megabytes and maybe your file is larger than that.

There is a lot im trying to do. ill put some screen shots to show what Im using to represent stuff in the game. Like the tables, oil drums and all that. Im trying to use 100% original. No mods or graphical enhancement to make it look wolf3D.

Technectally, its just recreating the maps into minecraft. so there isn't really any "playing" per say. but right now im working on E2-L7 So its going to take me awhile. Im not using any tools to clear the field. its all by my hands in singleplayer. So i have to level the field, Make the grid then work on the map. So it might take me a week or so to reach E3-L10. but Ill get around to it. thanks for the comments ^^

Wolf3D in Minecraft :D (New Screenshots) 11-29-11 Empty Abandoned Sign Contest and 60 or 64 levels?

Post by stathmk Mon Nov 07, 2011 5:09 am

I’m aware of only 2 types of differences between the different Wolfenstein 3D retail versions. The loading page will tell whether it’s ID software (Apogee), 3D Realms, GT Software, or maybe even steampowered.com. The other difference is that on episode 2 level 8, the Apogee version includes “Call Apogee Say Aardwolf” on an upside-down triangle in the maze. I’ve heard that the other versions instead have a stack of bones in that place in the maze. If you’re working on E2M8 now, then go to “24th April 2008: Apogee Sign Contest Walkthrough Package” at http://www.wolfenstein3d.co.uk/newsmar2008.htm . It includes my gif or jpg map of where to place the sign in your map if you haven’t heard of this.

Do you have Doom 2? Do you want to make 60 or 64 Wolfenstein 3D levels? Doom 2 is a 32-level game and Laz Rojas added a super secret exit in each of the 2 trilogies with 2 super secret levels. He also added a mine elevator in episode 6 level 9, and stairs in some places. I don’t know whether you’d rather recreate the original 60 levels or Laz Rojas’ 64 WolfenDoom levels. Download these WolfenDoom games at http://lazrojas.com/wolfendoom/index.html or The Nocturnal Missions and Original Missions at http://www.wolfensteingoodies.com/doommodsandclones/w3dindoom2/w3dindoom2.htm#Doom2 This is not the same as The WolfenDoom made by Areyep and MCS.

Im recreating what versions I have on my computer right now. I have no idea which version it is. But I have done Episode 2 already. im working on Episode 3 levels. im about to post more screens once I can take them. I have my Skype and all that info on my profile if you want to talk about it there. Easier to show it live through a skype webcam.

NEW SCREENS! Ok so the next screens show what items represent what from Wolf3D to Minecraft. I try my absolute best to keep it original. No mods at all. There are a couple that I couldn't really create them so I use just a fence post (there is a pic to understand what I me.) SO first is the items. then the blocks.

And please tell me what you guys think. Im trying to get as much feedback as I can. I don't want to complete this and in a sense waste time on it.

Tell me when you are done with the 60 Wolf3D levels and The 21 Spear of Destiny levels. Then I'll download the trial version of Minecraft. Seriously, tell me when you're done so that we can upload it to wolfensteingoodies.com, and then we'll contact Brian for The Wolfenstein 3D Dome News.

I vote choice B from this picture or B from the previous picture.

Tell me when you are done with the 60 Wolf3D levels and The 21 Spear of Destiny levels. Then I'll download the trial version of Minecraft. Seriously, tell me when you're done so that we can upload it to wolfensteingoodies.com, and then we'll contact Brian for The Wolfenstein 3D Dome News.[/quote]

well to respond to your voting. each block has to be different so it can stand out. so you can vote for the same OrangE Wool in Minecraft to be the Brown Marble and Brown Stone.

As for Wolf3D. again I only have 30 levels out of 60. and I can't do the rest untill I have the rest judged so I can get those done.

And to comment on doing SoD. do you want me to do that in a seperate File or in the same Build thats in the Wolf3D world?

Also I need to get a correct version of SoD. the version I have is corrupted.

If you want a separate file for the Spear of Destiny levels that's fine and I think I prefer it that way. Maybe you should have a file for episodes 1-3 of Wolf 3D and another file for episodes 4-6.

I have 2 suggestions for adding levels to The Spear of Destiny file. Maybe you can add the Eagle level that loads up in ChaosEditor. Maybe you can also add the Wolfenstein 3D and Doom logos level from Wolfenstein 3D Super Upgrades. Download Wolfenstein 3D Super Upgrades from 3drealms.com and open in ChaosEditor. It's a map in episode 3 level 10 in level set C or CC, if I remember correctly. Do a search for Super Upgrades on wolf3d.darkbb.com

I'm 40% sure that I'll be using the Unreal 3 Engine or Half-Life 2 engine to animate the workings of a Greek clock. Do you have any experience in programming in The Unreal 3 Engine or Half-Life 2? Do you suggest any tutorials, books, or web sites? Edit: What about Gary's Mod?
