Majik Monkee is pleased to present the re-release of OMS1, now with SDL support (the original DOS exe is included still). The game is identical to the original DOS release with some very minor code fixes, and an updated "readme" which gives credit to Andy Nonymous for the SDL version of the exe. Available here. The SDL version is Vista/Windows 7-compatible.

Very hard or maybe I just suck? Smile

I liked it. The only complaint I have is sometimes I would get hit point blank by a zombie before a door would fully open. This could be a limitation of the engine though? A few times I died because of this and it felt cheap. Overall nice work.

Yeah, it's pretty solid. I have to be in a pretty good mood to play this mapset! I'll give the SDL version a bash once I've had my tea. Smile

This has always been in the original Wolf. The only bonus is that you can kill them too in the same way, as long as you know they are there of course!

Too true. If I die that way going into a room the next time through I'll always fire a shot or two 'for luck'. It often pays off!

The SDL version has really made this come alive. I love it. Sneaking around corners and up to 'corpses' with the nice smooth movement is a godsend. I can't wait for (hopefully!) OMS2 SDL... and OMS3!

If I was to be nitpicky I would ask for textured floor and ceiling but that's just me being fussy. Smile
