Am I the only one who can't get on DHW?

Today I tried getting on Diehard Wolfers and found it saying my user didn't exist.

Just tried again and it's pumping out errors. Wondering if this is happening for anyone else?

Diehard Wolfers blocks email addresses ending with yahoo, hotmail, gmail, netscape, and others because of spam.

Schabbs is a moderator for Diehard Wolfers so if you still have a problem, then ask him.

No, he has signed up before. I think it's the good ol' DHW acting up again. It crashes sometimes.

Read my post again, I didn't say anything about having problems registering, just getting in full stop

And yeah, that is a problem, and i believe part of the reason it's a little quieter nowadays

DHW has been giving error messages all day. First it wouldn't let me sign in, then it gave a debug error message.

It's working again on my end.

Yes Zombie_Plan, same issues for me, I hadn't been able to gt in for a couple of days.

I've reported the error @ DHW so hopefully BT or someone can look into it so it doesn't happen again.

DHW was working again for a while, but it seems the problem has returned.

I had the same problem again all day yesterday but have been able to get in again today.

I've been trying to register there for about a month and a half, trying every few days, trying all the email accounts I have. I know Hotmail isn't allowed, so I tried my ISP, another address I have, and then started testing with fake addresses from other ISPs just to see if another ISP might work, but I always get an error saying that the mail server cannot be contacted. I was starting to think that the Wolfenstein 3D community, small as it must be, was not interested in having any new members, but luckily I ran across these forums!

Welcome to the forums, doshea.

The DieHard Wolfer forums has a fault in their registration process and at the moment no new members at all can join on there. It was supposed to be fixed months ago but the main admin has had computer problems.

Schabbs and I are both Moderators there and we will make sure that we notify people here of when this is fixed and people are able to join again. Hopefully it won't be much longer and we thank people for being patient.

Yes, Brian is correct. We have infact had a number of new members join over the last month or so.

I haven't noticed any issues with Spam or the forums being down for a while either, but if anyone dos if you could please let either Brian or myself know then that would be greatly appreciated.

36 hours with debug errors preventing me from perusing DHW? Sounds like a typical couple of days actually ;P
