Project: X Released | |
Richter Belmont and Mac Mendoza have released the full version of 'Project: X'. The 60 levels are extensive and well made. Virtually all graphics and sounds have been changed and there are many different scenarios. There are also many advanced coding features, including a mini-map (pressing M brings it up), 15 weapons (all reloadable and some on the same key), 20 enemies, an advanced sound manager, advanced shading and different types of doors (depends on level). It all blends well together and looks very professional. Vista-compatible. Available here. The mod is 9Mb, but the music comes separately on 3 files of around 100Mb each. |

Music?
How come I can't play with any music? I've downloaded the files. I must be doing something wrong that I don't understand.
How come at http://www.gamefront.com/files/user/megamanzero32002 when I click on DOMAIN.ogg it links me to a much smaller file than 5.6 megabytes?

Two words for this mod: HOLY CRAP (pun intended)!! I love these high resolution graphics and some of the music is so catchy. I love the music in the Carmilla's Slave House level as it sounds so jazzy and I love some the music from other levels as well. Are some of them borrowed from other games?

I believe most of it is borrowed from other games. (I believe.) Still, quite some extensive coding is going on there.

Man I cannot rave enough on some of this music! The Aether and Jungles of Romania level music are just so damn catchy! Excellent choice of music on Project X!
EDIT: some of the level music has some instruments that are also used in the old Sonic the Hedgehog games on Genesis. A few of them sound perfect for a Sonic game.

Re: Project: X Released
Double post.
Yeah more praise for the choice of music, but if enough people like it should there be a demand of an MP3 release of the music? (all the ones that are .ogg files)
