That's a good one, Dean.

Have you ever seen The Truman Show with Jim Carrey? I don't know if you'll like it.

Cartoonist Gary Larson from The Far Side has a parody comic of this idea. "If a tree falls in a forest and lands on a mime, does anybody care?

None of you exist anyway, you are all just actors in my sphere of realisation. Maybe all your memories and experiences are just pre-programmed to make discussions and experiences shared with me more interesting for me alone.
Nothing you can say can convince me you exist when i'm not aware of it. If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear does it still make a noise? Prove it....
I believe it's called Solipsism, which I don't believe in. Solipsism, which I call Metaphysical Theory, is the theory that all reality is just a dream or illusion. I saw the play, "Our Town." I don't remember the girl's name in "Our Town," but for a short segment she says she believes that we all exist in the mind of God.
Solipsism? If Evolution VS Intelligent Design isn't controversial or annoying enough, now there's Evolution VS Intelligent Design VS Metaphysical Theory.
I read in Discover or Wired magazine about a cult in Brazil where they believe that all the universe exists as data in a giant computer. They chant in Brazilian Portugese the words for binary ones and zeros. I am not making this up.
I don't like psychics. I think that they should be in jail for fraud or in an insane asylum because anybody else who does the same thing would be in jail or in an insane asylum. Some psychics try to explain "The Psychic Matrix." This has nothing to do with the movie, "The Matrix." They try to explain that psychics and prophets tap into a matrix where they get telepathy, past lives information, information about the future, or esoteric knowledge.
I read a lot about The Gnostic Christians. This is not a typo and they weren't Agnostic. I understand that Gnostics and certain Buddhists believe that life is a dream or illusion. Some Buddhists may not necessarilly agree with me on that. If you want to know more about the Gnostic Christians, then send me a message because I've read several books about them and looked at several web sites. They are probably the most confusing Christians. Emperor Constantine only legalised his kind of Christianity and either swept the Gnostics under the rug or persecuted them.
The ultimate philosophical question is, "How will you make a living majoring in Philosophy in college?"
