Otto in RTCW

Otto from wolf3d I think is mentioned in RTCW Village 1 level. Ther are two Nazis who are talking about him. Could it be the same Otto from Wolf3D. I believe Otto is dead in this game Since Eps 4-6 take place before Episode 1. Deathshead is Schabbs by the way. So Ep 2 and 3 take place after RTCW. Hitler is also still alive. They refer to Otto as "Otto did talk too much for his own good" like he is dead.
