    Good find. Smile

There's some interesting pics in there. It also mentions that Wolfenstein3D was released by Apogee Software 16 years ago last Monday (May 5, 1992). Amazing how quickly the time goes.

Lego - Lego Wolfenstein 3D Empty Lego Chaingun

Post by stathmk Fri May 09, 2008 3:11 pm

lilmanjs wrote:I really love the lego wolf3d. I wish somebody would make a lego wolf3d mod.
Then maybe BJ Blaskowics could use this chaingun!: http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/11/ultimate-lego-chaingun-not-your-parents-rubberband-gun/

I sometimes go to the Indiana State Fairgrounds. About 10 years ago, I went to the Exhibition Pavillion/Hall again, where they have the Bibles, other books, toys, t-shirts, chocolates, aluminum siding, and other venders. They had a rubber band chaingun, but it was wooden instead of Legos. If I remember right, it was about four feet tall including the stand. I asked the girl at the booth how much it costs, and I think that she said $1,500. I didn't get to try it, but it sure looked cool.

Edit: I had forgotten to mention that I didn't actually see this wooden chaingun fire. That would be weird if it happened. Imagine a guy pretending to be a comedian with a sugar and caffeine high and flipping rubber bands at religious solicitors spreading The Gospel, aluminum siding marketers, kids, Yankees, and farm animals. I'm joking in this last paragraph. Very Happy I thought that some of you are in Australia and Europe and you think that Americans have a gun reputation.

Lego - Lego Wolfenstein 3D Empty Lego BJ BLOCKowicz

Post by stathmk Sun May 25, 2008 5:55 pm

lilmanjs wrote:I really love the lego wolf3d. I wish somebody would make a lego wolf3d mod.
While thinking about Legos, I remembered the mini-mizer or buy-me mizer: http://www.reasonablyclever.com/buyme/index.html Idea

Then I designed a BJ "BLOCKowicz" wearing the clothes from when he jumps at the end of episode 1:
    Head Gear: H5: Br Flattop
    Face: F105.p.NBA1
    Torso: T127:Grey
    Hands: Hands:Pink
Legs: Legs: Grey (Or choose a similar grey color)
    Accessory 1: BA12-AK
Neckwear: Nothing (But you might as well buy a spare neckware part for one of your Lego sets in case you need it, if it’s included free.)

I also designed a buy-me mizer Mario with "ACCESSORY 1: Redbook," and a Lego mini-mizer version of myself.Cool I only designed them online; I didn't buy them.
This emoticon reminds me of Lego pirates::pirat:

Lego - Lego Wolfenstein 3D Empty Lego electronics and mods

Post by stathmk Fri Jun 27, 2008 10:23 am

Legos, Legos, and more Legos! I’ve wanted to put up the Lego links that I’ve found since last month.

lilmanjs wrote:I really love the lego wolf3d. I wish somebody would make a lego wolf3d mod.
It can take 2 years to make a Wolfenstein mod. So instead of spending two years of my life learning more C++ and making a mod, I thought that I’d just send to you some links to Lego inventions, and Lego computer game trials/demos:

In 1991, I took a 3-week summer class with Lego LOGO. It’s based off of the Logowriter program where you get to move the turtle around the screen. However, you get to hook the computer up to actual Lego Technic parts and batteries to make things. It was the summer after I was in fourth grade.

http://www.fileplanet.com/search.aspx?searchtype=2&q=Lego has demos and files for Lego Batman, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, Lego Universe, and Lego Racers.

http://www.fileplanet.com/secsearch.aspx?searchtype=2&p=2&q=Lego has demos and files for Lego Pirates and Lego System. Some are for Half-Life.

Unreal Tournament 3 Deathmatch Lego mod: http://www.fileplanet.com/184695/180000/fileinfo/Unreal-Tournament-3---DM-Lego

    Lego Indiana Jones Demo: http://www.fileplanet.com/107661/0/section/LEGO-Indiana-Jones

The Bionicle Heroes (Lego) computer game: http://www.fileplanet.com/search.aspx?searchtype=2&q=Bionicle

Bubba Lego for Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil: http://planetdoom.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Doom3Mods.Detail&id=55

Doom 2 Recreation with Legos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soGmYCOej08 and also click on similar links at the right.

LeGGo Doom 2 is the fourth picture down on this page: http://www.doomwadstation.com/main/tc.html . I like to warp to level 8 to see the new spider mastermind and cyberdemon. I also like to beat level 30 for the new ending.

Go to http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/?search and do a search for Lego.

Some sorts of Lego Doom 2 mods under April 15, 2002 and April 8, 2002: http://www.duellist.net/ . There’s probably also Lego Doom 1, but I can’t find the web site for it anymore.

Cool Quake 3 lego mod: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWiWrZGIFNQ

Lego BlockCAD is so cool, why didn’t I think of it?: http://www.the-underdogs.info/game.php?id=2991 It’s free.

Lego Doom 3 Marine photo: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/53788

Lego Indiana Jones stop-motion: (I won’t tell you the surprise ending.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egPgU5kAjKE

    Lego Spiderman 1 stop-motion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xEhXj1ApQI

    Lego Spiderman 2 stop-motion: http://www.kontraband.com/show/show.asp?ID=1421&rtn=main-topten

    Lego Counterstrike stop-motion: http://www.prankies.com/394-Lego-Counterstrike-video.php

Do google searches for the "Lego Monty Python," "Lego White & Nerdy," and others. There are many other Lego videos and I’ve just decided to type the ones about computer games. Look up the Youtube video of Weird Al Yankovics’ White & Nerdy. It’s funny.

The Lego MindStorms Pinball machine ( http://www.pinballnews.com/news/lego.html ) is fully-functional and has its own operating system somewhat based on Visual Basic as well as other languages. There are also Lego clocks.

Lego knitting or braiding machines: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Lego+knitting&search_type=&aq=f

The Nintendo made of Legos: http://www.retronintendo.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=8

http://www.thebricktestament.com/ doesn't have anything to do with Wolfenstein 3D or computer games, but they sure like Legos. Goodness, there's a lot of disturbing blood and sexism in the Bible.

I’ve heard that there’s now a Legoland in San Diego.

I have been to the Air and Space Museum in Fond Du Lac or Osh Kosh, Wisconsin. They’ve had a scale model of the Spirit of St. Louis flying above a Lego model of Paris. That was about 11 years ago that I saw it and I don’t know if it’s still there. I’ve never been to Paris, France so I don’t know if it would be accurate.
I have 20 or 30 boxes of Legos. I’ve made a Lego Mario that’s several inches tall and a pyramid.

    I think that I’m forgetting a Lego cd-rom game.

I saw an article in an engineering magazine about a Lego ROBOLAB kit where you get to make an actual Lego robot. It’s 4 pages. If you want me to email the article scans to you, then send me a private message with your email.

Edit on July 12th: I've forgotten one. In "Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins" for The Game Boy there's one or two levels made of Legos.

I think that's the Unreal Engine. I have Unreal Anthology. Where did you download this Lego mod? I know that there are a lot of Unreal mods at fileplanet.com, planetunreal.com, http://www.beyondunreal.com/ , and http://skincity.beyondunreal.com/ .

Do not read the rest of this post if you guys take religion way too seriously.

While we’re talking about Legos, I want to tell my favorite passage from thebricktestament.com . A paraphrase of http://www.thebricktestament.com/the_law/why_to_keep_the_law/dt28_63p27.html is that Yahweh (Hebrew for God) will give you hemorrhoids, other symptoms, and that you will find no cure. Suspect Say that with a straight face! I bet that Sigmund Freud would have fun with this one if he knew about it. There’s a lot of sexism, blood, and death in the Bible. Shocked

Edit: I was confused. It's not in the Unreal graphics engine. It's in the C4 graphics engine.

Today I was looking at Youtube and found virtual reality videos of Lego Chess and Lego Metal Gear Solid. I know how to play chess, but I haven't played Metal Gear Solid. I've found intros for Lego Alpha Team, Lego Rock Raiders, and Lego Stunt Rally; computer games that I hadn't heard of before.

Um, I went to planetunreal.com, did a search for Lego and it had other hits. I know that there's a Lego Deathmatch mod for Unreal Tournament 3 on fileplanet.com .

Lego - Lego Wolfenstein 3D Empty Lego Discovery Center

Post by stathmk Thu Aug 07, 2008 7:22 am

On Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday last week I was watching the Today Show with Hoda Kotb and Kathy Lee. It was about the new indoor Lego Discovery Center in Schaumburg, Illinois. They have a skyline of Chicago made of Legos, a giant Lego Hagrid (apparently from Harry Potter), and other characters. Contest winner Dan Morey spent the morning making Lego busts of Hoda and Kathy and he showed them before the show was over. It sounds very interesting and I want to go there sometime. I have a few relatives in Schaumburg.

Read here http://www.pause.com/?p=72 or enter "Lego Discovery Center" into a search engine.

Type "Lego font" into a search engine for Lego fonts.

Edit: While I'm talking about Unreal, Wolfenstein, and the Lego font, I had forgotten to mention something. Here: http://www.typenow.net/themed.htm you can get the Unreal, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Lego, Playboy, and other fonts.

Lego - Lego Wolfenstein 3D Empty Lego Batman reminds me of Lego Unreal Wolfenstein

Post by stathmk Tue Sep 23, 2008 6:35 pm

I'm posting again because of this: https://wolf3d.darkbb.com/wolf3d-help-fantism-f11/some-posts-have-been-missing-from-the-last-few-days-t1004.htm

I've seen McDonald's commercials for Lego Batman Happy Meals and commercials for the Lego Batman computer game. This all reminds me of the Lego Unreal Wolfenstein video.

I'm probably going to buy the 2-in-1 CD-rom that I saw. It's Lego Creator and Lego LEGOLand.
Edit: I was confused. It's not in the Unreal graphics engine. It's in the C4 engine.

LegoWolf3D just uploaded another video yesterday. These videos are pretty cool: https://www.youtube.com/user/legowolf3d In the Pac-Man level, you actually get a power-up where you get to eat the ghosts. Look for Unreal Lego Wolf3D on The Wolfenstein 3D Dome soon.

I can make levels with radiant ( mohradiant etc ) never done it with unreal.
About the alpha files, I dont have 'Unreal' yeah some where on a copied disc.

It doesn't work, something with a sound card, and I cant download the drivers from the site.
Tell me a little bit more about radiant or mohradiant, since I've never heard of them. They sound interesting.

Sorry about when I was confused and I had first told you that they are Unreal engine files, while all of Lego Wolf's remaining videos on Youtube are in the C4 engine. It's the C4 engine.

I had forgotten to mention that these C4 files don't work on my computer either. I'm sorry that I was too optimistic that they would work on your computer when I didn't know what kind of computer that you have.

    Here's my C4Log:
    My C4Log.html file wrote:C4 Engine

    Version 1.4.10

    11/24/2008
    7:51:51 PM

    Windows 5.1 Service Pack 3
    Intel SSE2 2992 MHz (2)
    Memory: 1024 MB

    Application name: C4 Engine

    Error: 44530001
Check your C4Log.html file. Did you also get "Error: 44530001" at the bottom? If so, then you don't have the minimum graphics card. Mr Anonymous Lego Wolf 3D tells me that there are dozens of graphics cards that would work, and just the minimum are listed.

Sorry, dont have them anymore. Radiant is a mapping tool for Medal of honor allied assault, Return to Castle Wolfenstein etc.

    Thank you.

I see that there's also been a Lego Wolf3D video added to Youtube just 5 hours ago.

I tried the Wolf3D alpha files on my computer and they don't work. As soon as I get a faster computer with a compatible graphics card I'll play the game.
